Excellent location, very private, view out over open countryside. Stepping from the french windows straight into the countryside.
No people around, just lots of wildlife and birdsong.
Close to many North Kent nature reserves (within a half hour drive)

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Watercress Barns.
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Watercress Barns. The balcony apartment was very well equipped, bright and comfortable. Perfect for our 3 nights stay. There are some good local pubs in close by villages serving great food. Very easy to access the accommodation from M2 and M20 too.

The traffic on the main A2, running through Sittingbourne,...
The traffic on the main A2, running through Sittingbourne, is a nightmare at rush hour times, and there are numerous traffic lights along the route. A short distance takes longer to travel than you might anticipate, even in non-rush-hour periods.
There is a complicated one-way system in the town centre and there is nowhere to pull up, just to pick up or set down a passenger, outside the railway station (unless you happen to be a taxi).
The suburban streets have many speed bumps along them, making traveling around the town generally uncomfortable.

Nothing to review as we came to see my friend and stayed at hers for the day. Plus I usually come for the day and stay at her sometimes. But as I had a friend with me we are now going to stay there each time we come together.
Fabulous, well run hotel.
Really helpful and welcoming staff.
Beautiful bedroom, comfy bed, luxurious furnishings, newly refurbished modern bathroom.
Restaurant was great, delicious food, especially evening meal. Breakfast good, could have had a bigger range of breads/pastries and obvious vegan/veg options.
Afternoon tea was lovely, freshly made, plenty for two.
Spa was beautiful. Really lovely pool, great jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, very clean. Had a wonderful facial and shoulder massage with Felicity. So relaxing!
Great hotel. The building is historic and absolutely full of character.
Excellent room. Super comfy, drinks facilities (very generously stocked) and a lovely modern bathroom.
Pub itself is superb, with great beers (one of my favourites was on) that are well kept. The Doom Bar (normally an average but pleasant amber ale) tasted fresh and delicious.
Food was served quick and was hot and tasty.
Room was clean and adequate for the night; free water and biscuits was a nice touch. Bathroom was spotless with a large shower. Evening meal and breakfast was one of the better Wetherspoon's I've eaten in. Air con was a nice surprise. Was good value for money considering the price of other hotels in the area. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
The location was beautiful, quiet and set in the heart of rolling hills and woodland. Yet, not far from all the amenities on offer at Sittingbourne and Faversham. Kate was a great host and the breakfast absolutely delicious. The accommodation was sparkly clean and very comfortable. Thanks, Kate. We look forward to coming back.
Jane is an excellent host! the room was comfortable with an en-suite bathroom and perfect for our short stay in Sittingbourne. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and made to order with fresh ingredients. Jane was also very helpful in getting our dinner reservation as well. would definitely stay if back in the area.
This property is set deep in the Kent countryside and is very peaceful. We woke to the sounds of birds singing and more importantly no passing traffic. We were staying three nights whilst visiting my elderly Mum in her care home in Gillingham. It was the perfect place for us and so much better than an hotel.
Really great location! So easy to get around. The train station is very close with many local spots to eat. The rooms are good sizes and have everything. We requested cleans during our stay and that was taken care of really well. Worked from home a few days and the desk space was appreciated.
Excellent host who could not have been more helpfful. Comfortable very well equipped flat in a nice quiet area and with its own off road parking space. Handy for the Medway towns and north Kent attractions. One of the best self catering venues we have used.
Having 3 bathrooms is very convenient. Fluffy towels. The location is good and free parking onsite makes life easier. 15 minutes walk from Sittingbourne station. The kitchen is fairly well equipped. The washing machine was useful.
Great location, short walk into town, round the corner from a large Morrison’s & has its own free parking which is a bonus in Sittingbourne. Very spacious compared to other houses we have stayed at in Sittingbourne.
Lovely house, clean, ton of character and kitted with decent equipment. Perfect walking distance to pretty much everything in sittingbourne including the station. Loved the property and would definitely stay again.
Beautiful setting, very cosy & comfortable…..especially arriving after a cold wet walk!
Tasty breakfast in the main house, I liked the set up.
Easy walk into Sittingbourne via public footpaths and the main road
Great experience staying at The Beaumont. A hidden gem in Sittingbourne. Clean as can be and well situated.
But what makes it stand apart is the amazing owners: warm and welcoming! Definitely recommended.
Nice location and facilities although there are some very narrow road restrictions if you are traveling from Sittingbourne town centre to and from the hotel
