It was a comfortable stay. However breakfast was disappointing. Just bread and jam/honey. No eggs, fruit or yoghurt. Especially as it was Ramadan it would have been nice to serve tourist a bit more so they can get through the day as practically all cafes and restaurants are closed during the day as they should be.ChristienNetherlands

The owners are a lovely couple from Switzerland that poured their heart and soul into making this hotel into a relaxing , comfortable and luxurious retreat for their guests. We spent two glorious nights at Bab El Atlas and could have easily stayed another 5 nights.Breakfast and dinner were delicious. There's a 15th century kasbah 2 minute walk from the hotel that's fun to explore.

Be sure to allow a few days here and take a hike along one of the verdant valleys, or through the majestic Mgouna Gorge. The Kasbah can organise a guide, lunch and anything else that you need

I was warmly welcomed by Mohammad and shown around the hotel. The views of the surrounding areas/old berber houses are breathtaking. There are lounge areas for guests to relax and enjoy the views. My room was cosy yet comfortable, the decor was lovely and shower had hot water. The gardens are stunning and within a short walk, the delicate fragrant roses will tantalise your senses.

The view is amazing, the food was good - the room was big enough for 4 people, with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. We got a good recommendation for a hike in the rose valley, which was easy to find and very beautiful.

It was a great location to get away from the main city and larger towns. The home made food was one of the best we've had in Morocco! We also went down to the river with our driver and met some locals and picked figs.
