Benadalid is small blanco pueblo still almost untouched from the mass touristic. There is no restaurant, just a "bar" which offers great tapas when open (only from 8 pm, if at all) there are less than 200 locals still leaving in the town it is fully imaginably how it looked some hundred years ago. The castle is hosting the cemetery of the locals which was first quite unusual for me but actually it is a great solution and reuse of the castle’s walls. I would strongly recommend to stop and take a look, it is possible to walk through in 15 minutes but you can spend a lot more time by wondering and thinking/imagining how life could have been in such a small town up in the mountains.
