Whoever designed and furnished the hotel has a wonderful eye for detail and the same can be said for the meals which were a delight. Good food, well cooked and beautifully presented. We also loved the village of Terrades which we have driven past on many occasions. The two gentlemen who run this small olde-world style hotel are friendly, charming and so helpful. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and Juan Carlos and José Maria made a huge effort to make our New Year's Eve meal one to remember. We cannot thank them enough and warmly recommend La Fornal to anyone visiting this delightful part of Catalonia.
