It's an attractive town, with good restaurants and shopping and lovely architecture and historic landmarks. The park is lovely too, and we visited museo casa de cervantes which was quite a highlight and beautifully presented. Quite an underrated town I would say.
We ate at a couple of good restaurants la tasquita which is a good tapas bar and also Los zagales where we had a fixed price menu which was excellent.

Beautiful old town and Plaza Mayor.
Beautiful old town and Plaza Mayor. Cathedral is less impressive. During my visit in September a festival was going on and the city was alive with music and food stalls every where. A lot of bike lanes and bikes for hire make you go around the city very easy.

Lovely, compact city to stroll around.
Lovely, compact city to stroll around. Plenty of cafes/bars/restaurants. Some fabulous architecture. Places worth visiting are National Sculpture Museum, Cathedral and Parque Campo Grande (beautiful, tranquil Park in the centre of the city). Unfortunately, the Casa de Cervantes was closed the weekend I was there, so can't comment on it.
I had no need for public transport except when I went to the football stadium (which is 2/3km beyond the river).
Overall, a very friendly, pleasant and safe city. Would definitely return.

We picked Valladolid a convenient place to rest, for a couple of days, on a long journey but it is a fascinating small city with a rich history and lots to see on foot, a huge range of places to drink and eat and watch the world go by.

We were greeted and felt very welcomed by Hotel Manager Roberto. You could tell he was very proud of the hotel and city. He gave us tips on where to eat and places to see. It was a shame we were only there one night - however, we would definately return.
The location at the heart of Plaza Mayor makes this hotel an ideal choice to jump-start your VA!-lladolid exploration! The rooms were simple which is not an issue. Maybe a bit too small for a couple or three but I was alone so not a problem at all. The bathrooms were ok and had the necessities one would require. I'd stay here again!
The location was just perfect! As soon as you step out, you're right in the centre (Plaza Mayor) of Valladolid. I really like the size of the rooms and the curtains really block out the sunlight so you could sleep in and not know it's morning! Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
This apartment is exactly what you need if you travel to Valladolid with your friends or family. It's super centric (next to the Plaza Mayor) where you can also find the underground parking. Wifi was working perfectly. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
The receptionist was very nice and helpful and provided interesting sightseeing advice for Valladolid, and was always at our service. He was extremely serviceminded and gave us an outstanding hotel experience.
Excellent location for a stopover on the way through south Spain. The two ladies on reception and snack duty were very nice and helpful. But all The staff generally appeared disinterested.
The hotel has great location, close to everything - the park, Calle Santiago, and Plaza Mayor.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly and the restaurant was good. Definitely recommend
Very good hotel in Valladolid between the train station and the city centre. The room was big, the bed very confortable. Large bathroom (with tub in my case). Quite quite room
The location was perfect, right next to the train station, and walking distance away from the main down town area.
If I had to go back to Valladolid would probably come back
A lovely hotel and a lovely room, great breakfast; the presence of a kettle was a big plus. Good location, close by car (but not by foot) to central Valladolid.
everything was clean. the hotel is so beautiful and the location is perfect. you Can walk 5 min to the train station and the amenities are 5 minutes walk.
