A dry dusty town surrounded by beautiful mountains. peaceful, friendly and felt very safe. SO much cleaner than the cities. Lots of Market stalls on the way in / out and these are better prices than in marakesh

Nothing much (at present at least) in Ouirgane.
Nothing much (at present at least) in Ouirgane. However this place nails it for off the beaten track and-or if staying closer to Imlil and just a stonethrow away (if you are motorized - less than an hour). We found Imlil to busy to stay and Asni to crowded, so Ouirgane really made for the right location for venturing in the Atlas mountains.
Breakfast was amazing as was all the food we had. The staff were among the most friendly and accommodating I have ever encountered in the industry
We enjoyed sunset on the rooftop. Drinks and the sunset view are second to none
The facilities were clean and beautiful. I was impressed with the bathroom. Shower was large and water pressure was great.
What really stood out was how wonderful the staff was at all times.
We throughly enjoyed our stay and will think of Morocco and its people for many years
The hotel was lovely and the grounds beautifully looked after. With 25 hectares of land there were lots of different walks to go on without leaving the hotel. There was a nearby lake too. We had the junior suite which was huge, the bedding was really good quality and the beds very comfy. Immaculately clean. The March weather was still cool so unable to use the outdoor pool but it was nice to sit beside the pool and relax on one of the many loungers with the bar and restaurant close by.
It was the most relaxing trip I had so far, the staff are very kind and helpful, the food was delicious rooms are spacious and clean and a magical view day and night, I was planning to stay 2 nights and I added another one and if the place wasn't booked I was planning to stay more because I enjoyed it, wonderful garden and Mohammed help us a lot and we went hiking, it was very amazing experience, I loved it there and for sure I will come back sooon.
We had a fabulous time at the Ecolodge. Mohamed was a fantastic host, he made everything very easy -he was also great craic! The location is perfect and very beautiful, an hour and 15 minutes from Marrakech. There are walking trails around, with the option of guided and not guided, to suit all abilities. The food was delicious, and we brought our own wine which we were able to enjoy with dinner.
Overall, it was a perfect stay.
My family and I stayed in Hotel le Mouflon. The hotel is very clean, modern and cute. The room is nicely decorated and the bathroom is quite spacious. The hotel is located near a lakel. The breakfast (included) was perfect and the dinner, home cooking style, was delicious. I would come here again for the dinner :) all the staff were super nice, friendly and very welcoming. I highly recommend it.
What a magical place this is. I think this was the first time in my life that I felt like an actual princess!
They lit up the fire place in our room and we had the most delicious meal in front of the fire place.
Best bread I’ve tasted in Morocco.
The view is amazing, the beds so comfortable and we didn’t get cold at all at night!
After a delicious breakfast it was hard to say goodbye :)
We had a wonderful experience at Dar Tassa, and loved the beautiful mountain views overlooking the Ouirgane valley. Hafida's hospitality and cooking was truly exceptional, and a highlight of our entire time in Morocco. We especially loved the cooking the class and can't wait to make tajines at home! The peace and quiet at Dar Tassa was a real gift!
The place was exceptionally clean with lovely rooms. The breakfast was delicious and served on the outside deck overlooking the reservoir.Dinner was delicious and served in the cozy dining room with a fire going. The family feeling was very clear and wonderful. friendly yet also very professional. and the best coffee we have had in Morocco!
The food! We ate two meals at Riad Diwane and both of them - especially the chicken tanjine - was out of this world. Everything is cooked family style and traditionally, and the quality is better than any restaurant we went to in Morocco. The staff even found us late-night melon. A lovely place to relax in the mountains.
This hotel is utterly lovely. The staff are beyond wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are really outstanding and the food generally was fresh, varied and of a really high standard. The grounds, gardens and pool area are beautiful, with views that take your breath away.
This Riad is fantastic. Given the earthquake damage in most of the town this Riad is untouched. The host family is fantastic and really helpful, it is wonderfully located, the meals are fantastic and they are really helpful about organising things to do. I am going to return there again.
Our room was great, the views of the Atlas Mountains from the hotel were stunning.
Thank you to the two exceptionally hard working barmen/waiters who seemed to do everything, from taking the orders, preparing the food and drink and then serving them always with a smile.
Place is scenic with Atlas mountain views, ouirgane river, peaceful and exceptionally friendly staff. You can not go wrong with this place. The village walk activity was a great experience. Village people are very friendly towards tourists.
Everything was fantastic. Mohamed is an exceptional manager of the facility, and the ecolodge is such a beautiful garden & stay. He really went above and beyond in every way, we wished we could stay longer.
This hotel exceeding anything we expected. The staff and the entire property was just amazing. Highly recommend and we are already planning to go back as soon as we can.
The views, the decor and the staff all incredible! Private balcony to drink tea in the sun, great pressure in the shower and the best tajine we’ve had in Morocco.
