Great place as the starting point to see the surroundings.
Great place as the starting point to see the surroundings. The city itself is good for maybe one-evening sightseeing, but around Kartuzy there are so many beautiful places. I recommend taking a bike trip as you can reach plenty of lakes areas etc. In Kartuzy I ate at Mondo's. Pretty good food for a cheap prize.

We used Kartuzy as a base for sight seeing. The area is full of history with lots of places to visit. There are also lots to do if you like walking ,watersports and cycling. For these reasons I'd recommend a visit

Facilities are excellent, location is wonderful, food is good Polish/Kashubian home cooking and price is really good value for money. To top it all off the staff are extremely helpful and professional. Oh, and getting here is really easy from Gdansk, Gdynia or the airport. Good parking place, restaurant with reasonable prices is available to you with the view to the lake (in the first floor terrace). The room is very clean, every day there was a maid to take care of the room. The hotel is in the end of town so its very calm.
