The kasbah is simply an absolutely beautiful place where you become immersed into the culture. Very genuine hospitality met us the minute we came through the gate and it did not take long to be welcomed with hot tea and enjoy.

Excellent stopover stay between Ouzarzarte and Agadir. Our host Sajid was brilliant as were the views, accomodation, location & food. Sajids garden was amazing & he had a lot of animals to keep us all entertained ie birds, tortises/ terrapins, camel, donkey & a cat.

We decided to have dinner with them, which was simply wonderful. Great soup, great main dish and to finish off with a lovely chocolate cake and home made ice cream. After such a great night sleep, Said presented us with an amazing breakfast with anything we might wanted to taste while in Morocco. Beside the kindness of Omar and Said, the stay there help us decide the rest of the journey for our trip.

The room opened on to the courtyard and was quiet, large and comfortable. The food here was amazing. We had delicious lamb for main course and the chocolate dessert was so good! Both made a nice change from chicken tagline and fruit for dessert which is frequently served up elsewhere.

It seems more like a place to stop overnight for tourists and others who travel along the road than a place for a long stay, and it is very good for that. We had two times the Lamb tajine wit a lot of vegetables. These were absolutely top quality. The location of the hotel is also very nice and quiet. Lively Taliouine is nearby. Don't forget to visit the Gorge of Tislit. Ask the hosts for the direction

Obviously a centre or starting point for hiking and trekking - if you have a the time & inclination I would recommend to consider staying here for a few days and maybe going for a trip. Mountain guides, and tips etc available at the hotel.
