The loft is a spacious and clean place to relax, unwind and stay at while staying in the quaint town of Clearwater. The beds are super comfortable, the interior space is exceptionally clean and the property is located right in the middle of town, making grocery getting or food trips quick and convenient. Kitchen was well stocked and supplied with everything you'd need. Little things like carpeting on the side of the room where the beds and tv are make it that much better, at least to me. Overall, exceeded my expectations, especially on value.

The gateway to Wells Grey Park, Clearwater is a great base camp to explore the numerous waterfalls, river rafting adventures, fishing spots and hiking/biking in the surrounding area. The people have always been friendly and welcoming with my countless visits and the scenery spectacular. Helmcken Falls is a major highlight in Wells Grey Park. Check in at the visitor center to really get a grasp of everything this place has to offer! The main town has good amenities for food, groceries, gas and more. Waterfalls in nearby Regional Park ( I think there were 4 of them to see. All were beautiful on their own. Only one needed like 1-hour + hike, rest were closer to the road. Can be seen in half a day easily, before you need to continue driving East or West.

Wells Gray Provincial Park. Beautiful scenery full of gorgeous waterfalls, lakes, rivers and creeks. We had breakfast in the Blue Grouse Inn where we stayed and we dined out in Clearwater for our other meals. This Inn is close to most of the key waterfalls. Clearwater is very easy to get around by car. There are numerous activities like rafting, canoeing, etc that you can do. Information centre is very helpful. We even went to my first ever rodeo in nearby Barriere.

Clearwater has everything you need along the #5: groceries, gas , a few restaurants but is not the reason to go here. Go for the hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting and camping in Wells Gray Park and Myrtle Lake but be prepared for hot weather along with mosquitoes and black flies in the summer. Dutch Lake is beautiful warm swimming lake just off the #5 with a lovely sand and grassy public beach with wharf and swings for young children.GillCanada

There is also a single cup coffeemaker and pods for your early morning wake-up rush. The hotel is not anywhere near the golf course mentioned in the name, but it does have a wonderful little private beach on the lake where you can relax and drink in the quietness and beauty of the surroundings. There is a lot of construction going on and I hope that it will not take away the relatively rustic atmosphere of the beach. Will visit again if I am in the area!
