We were there for a medical procedure and there was a snowstorm so it was a good place to be safely. We utilized the restaurant because it was close and the staff was very friendly there. We travel to Cranbrook often from Creston , but don't often stay overnight

Cranbrook hosted a wonderful Kootenay Gran Fondo bike race.
Cranbrook hosted a wonderful Kootenay Gran Fondo bike race. It was excellently organized with lovely volunteers. The trail from Cranbrook to Kimberley was perfect as was the entire race. In general the people of Cranbrook were friendly and kind.

The room wasn’t bad but very basic.
The room wasn’t bad but very basic. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast option was a disaster. A muffin, a juice box and a piece of fruit in a bag is NOT breakfast. The listing needs to change showing No Breakfast.

No complaints expect maybe the wifi could be better, beds were comfortable, kitchenette was more than we needed but very well stocked. Despite not looking like much from the outside our room was nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
Also The Heid Out/Fisher Peak Brewing was family friendly and had the best food by a long shot! Was worth a really long wait too!

Amazing views and superb building.
Amazing views and superb building. However, there is room for improvement considering the hotel facilities. Comparatively very expensive and no value for the money as there are no meals included in the booking. It is a great location for a photo shoot. However, I do not recommend it for accommodation purposes.

We stayed in the downtown area were there is a very large park - I think it’s the Rotary Park. We were there on a Saturday and they have live music and serve beer and coolers in part of the park. There are a number of restaurants and shops in the downtown area we stayed at. We stayed at the Baker Hotel which is an old brick hotel that is renovated. We ate at the Heid Out & Fisher Peak Brewing Company for dinner twice. We saw deer just walking around neighborhoods, which was really fun for us.
Our hosts Mirka and Dennis were engaging and supportive - we traveled to do the Wasa Lake Triathlon weekend so were in bed early and out early in the morning. There was a fridge for us to use, we were welcome to store our bicycles the garage, and Mirka made us sandwiches to take along as we wouldn't be there for breakfast. It is in a quiet location about 14 minutes drive outside of the main shopping area in Cranbrook. We felt welcome as guests in their home.
The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed steak sandwiches in the casino and found the price reasonable. The grounds around the hotel were very nice and we especially liked the statue of the indigenous children and accompanying story. The history of St. Eugene's is quite interesting. Would recommend to friends.
Firstly, and very importantly, the owner of the motel was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and I appreciated the hardwood floors over carpeting. The room was quiet. I had a short but very pleasant and comfortable stay. I will visit there again when I’m in Cranbrook next, and recommend this motel to others.
I like the room set-up with a sofa and bath room with an additional faucet. Staff were friendly. This hotel is providing breakfast with a good service, whereas, most of other major brand hotels are not providing breakfast to its customers.
Room was a bit smaller, but had everything I needed such as good toiletry, fridge, microwave, etc. Parking lot was ample with pool to use. Bed was comfy and slept well for the next day. Quick check-in and out with friendly staff.
The room size was really nice for a hotel room and the setting in old Mission/church is very historical a lot of hallways with pictures of what the area was 100 years ago and an exceptional pool spa steam room area as well
