This place is perfect for holiday-makers who want to get around quickly, find everything within walking distance and just plan to relax on the beach. Reasonable prices altogether, no luxury resorts. There are better places when you plan to do anything other than just lying on the beach and spend a happy time there.

Agia Marina and the rest of the island offers beautiful...
Agia Marina and the rest of the island offers beautiful beaches, some of them sandy and you can walk out for miles! It can be reached by 30 minute hydro from Athens to Aegina town, then a 20 minute taxi ride. The main town has everything you could need regarding choice of traditional greek and more contemporary restaurants, a few bars, shops and supermarket. For us it was reminiscent of 'old Greece' and not geared up to British tourists, which we loved! Amongst the charm, be prepared for the 'closures' like you may see in any seaside town in the UK, be that hotel developments or shops. A car is useful to visit the islands beaches and ancient landmarks. Aegina needs more tourists, but only those that want to experience Greece.

Perfect if you don’t want chaos.
Perfect if you don’t want chaos. It has 10 restaurants and 2 bakeries. What else do you need.
The water is the best water I’ve swam in in my lifetime. There is a ferry from the cove only 1 per day on Hellenic seaways.11:20 departure.
It will save you $25 cab ride to the port side of the island.

The Marina is a nice haven in which to stay, everything is to hand and the beach is wonderfully long, ideal location to either take a walk to the little church (recommended) or just sit and soak up the Sun.
Restaurants are also plentiful and either on or close to the beach making for a great evenings relaxation with good food and a glass of wine.
Its family friendly as apart from the high street you're out of the way of traffic, also the sea is shallow and warm making it safe for a wide age range.

Amazing! Would definitely recommend it.
Amazing! Would definitely recommend it. Beautiful room and garden. Close to the beach and bars. Also great for families. We ate to a really beautiful place close the the hotel. Bus stop also near. Easy to get around Agia Marina by foot. The only disadvantage is that the bus stops early in the day and you can't go to the city later if you want.

Since it was a 2 star hotel we were a bit sceptical at first, but we couldn't imagine we'd have such a great stay there! When you get there, sure, it seems a little outdated in a glance but we were positively surprised at how spotless the place is, our room was definitely renovated, clean and cozy and the breakfast was exceptional! The feeling we had the whole time was that this place was too good to be true for the money we spent - but it was! Kudos to the owners and the stuff, they were all so helpful and brightened our mood!
Very well located: 200 m to the beach and 50 m to the main street, still quite. Friendly and disponible personal. Cozy appartment despite little space and no view. Large balcony. Climatisation ok. Neighbourhood: good atmosphere on the beach bars and restorants on the beach ( we tried these ones only). Surroundings: we made an evening walk (high t°) to the Aphaia temple - closed by that h but great view. Other locations reacheable by scooter (20-30e/day), e bike (25), taxi (20-40/ round trip): St Nektarios Monastery, Aegina
This is a fantastic place to stay! Angeliki is a phenomenal host and goes to great lengths to ensure that guests have all they need. The rooms are spacious and clean and have private balconies for relaxing on. The garden area is perfect for breakfast - which is extensive and delicious! This hotel is very quiet, close to the beach, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again.
I really enjoyed my stay , the host was very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location, very close to Agia Marina beach . The room was comfortable and equipped with a kitchenette and has a balcony overlooking the bay. I wish I could have stayed longer but I would definitely consider this place when I will get back in Aegina. The host helped with bus schedule and to book taxi to Agios Nektarios.
Everything. The price to stay in this beauty and quiet Greek island is absolutely a deal! Dimitris is one of the best hotel owner that I ever met (and I’m working in the hospitality business 10 years now) He is brilliant. Location stunned, you have Egeo sea just in front your window, I reserved for one night first and I extended my stay for another 3 days, I’m falling in love with this island.
The location is great, just a few minutes from the beach, restaurants, shops, bus stop. Everything is clean and tidy, nice view over the sea from the balcony. Nice garden in front of the hotel with plenty of plants and flowers. Overall is definitely one of my best experience meeting polite, positive and happy people with a good, high vibes.
Such wonderful and hospitable owners. We dealt with a little bit of issues upon arrival and the staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. The hotel is steps from a wonderful beach full of restaurants and cares. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The value - outstanding. Highly recommend.
The hotel is in the perfect location where the mountain meets the beach in Aegina Island.
We stayed in the bungalow on the ground floor that allowed us to drink and relax after dinner with a sea view. Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly.
View from the room is nice. Room itself is pretty big and clean, had 2 balconies - one on sea side, another is on mountain side. And Jenny at reception is the best - she is very friendly, helpful and tried to do everything, so we will have the best experience in Aegina island.
Everything was nice .Room close to. Sea hearing the waves. Mrs Svetlana very kind and helpful.Good breakfast.we recommend 100per cent. Dont forget to taste the super variety of sea food from Acrogiali restaurant below the hotel and on the beach always with some glass of ouzo
Lovely hotel in an excellent position - 2 minutes from the beach of agia marina, stunning. The room was spacious and comfortable, impeccably clean and with an amazing balcony with sea view. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
Best place for spending time at Aegina. The room is clean, have a beautiful view (photo attached). The hotel is close to the beach, bus stop.
