We liked the location: very beautiful, quiet, right in the middle of the "green" Istria, next to beautiful little villages. The pool is great- and for most of the time we were alone. We had an excellent breakfast under the trees.

A super location for a stay near Motovun. Nena is an exceptional host who kindly took our bikes in and locked them away in the garage. She took us to the village in her car which is a 25 min walk up the road. She also made us coffee and pastry breakfast.

I was welcomed by the owners, and although I was early, my room was ready. The room was spacious and very clean, had 2 windows allowing cross ventilation & lots of natural light. The en suite bathroom was clean, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water after a 30 second warm-up. The bed was super comfortable (I have a bad back & so really need a good mattress). In the morning the owner directed me to a choice of two places for breakfast. The hotel is well situated for finding it, for walking through the tiny village, and for really quiet nights and mornings.
