Kingman is a great place to stay, lots to explore.
Kingman is a great place to stay, lots to explore. Loved the drive to Vegas from here. Loved The Grand Canyon and The Hoover Dam (and the amazing bridge). I plan to return to Kingman and stay longer to explore it better.

We had lovely meal at an Italian, steakhouse called Mattina’s on East Oak Street.
You can get around Kingman using the H 40 and Route 66
Oatman is a great place to visit, old mining time.
If you are interested in the famous route 66 and bikes/ classic cars, you will love it here.

Great museum in the old power house, didn't have time to visit this time. Have visited before, and its a good one. Route 66 Diner was great, with good food, and great service from Santana (just like the rock star she said). Jumping off point for old Route 66 (Oatman Hwy if westbound), and Hackberry/Seligman if you're eastbound). Old 66 is a delightful drive, very scenic, and usually very light traffic limited to locals. Hackberry Store is an American Icon, and Seligman was the birth of "Old Route 66" associations in every state crossed by that great old highway.

I value the room's spaciousness, equipped with three queen beds and an extra room with a door. Perfect for a family of 5 or 6, it provides excellent value. Additionally, the parking is fantastic—you can park right in front of your unit. Check-in is easy. No Bible in the room.

Kingman is a pretty city with mountains all around. There is a host of motels and good restaurants to choose from. You can take old route 66 from Andy Devine Road northeast and go on a gorgeous back road route to Seligman to reconnect with highway 40 there.

I got off the freeway an exit too soon, and drove to the city center, which was awesome but completely vacant! (Alarming until I realized it was Sunday.)
The Old Town neighborhood had beautifully restored train cars (engines, cabooses, and in-between cars! And museums! I was curious, but had no free time. Want to go back and check things out.
Very friendly welcome by the receptionist upon arrival. It's a basic hotel, but that's what I anticipated on. Good price. Good location. Could park right in front of the room. Walking distance to fast food restaurants, short distance driving to the town's centre. Make sure you do that and check out the diner next to the little train and the small museum. It was an awesome Route 66 experience and great breakfast! Kingman was better than I expected. Nice town for a stop over.
All good, we cannot say otherwise, great location to reach Kingman downtown. The only disappointment (and we are very sorry to say that) is about beds, some of the most uncomfortable on our Route66 trip, maybe too used. Other than that, the accommodation would have been perfect!
Breakfast was great and the restaurant staff were extremely friendly. Hotel is set in a good location and easy to find after a long day of travelling. Fish tank in the lobby is a nice touch and you can buy Route 66 merchandise if you like that sort of stuff.
Clean room older motel but for the price it was great, staff friendly. I look at all the other motels driving through and even the hotel chains where older buildings, and double the price. Coffee, fridge, microwave all in room. and good cable
2nd time visiting this hotel. Family came from England and we knew where to stay in Kingman. Breakfast is one of the best we have known. Well Done. Our guests even liked the Mexican restaurant next door and the hot tub and pool.
Hotel quite new and amenities were good. Room was large and well equipped with kitchen facilities. Decor was lovely and bed was comfortable.
In a location for visits to Skywalk and Hoover Dam.
Nice room (we had family suite). Coffe provided all day in the reception. Good, american style breakfast (although with no vegetables - what was typical during our stay in many hotels in USA).
The rooms were simple, but comfortable, and roomy and clean and so conveniently located There is a fridge and microwave in each room too. Best economy hotel I've stayed in for the money
Rooms were ok for one night. We stayed because it was pet friendly. Price is a little high for what you get. Rooms are starting to get run down and it really needs new beds
Location and being pet friendly are a plus. I like the well lit parking lot. And there is room to hang out in the lobby is you need a place to get away.
