the Extended Stay was filthy and poorly staffed. There was marijuana smoke in the hallways and the room telephone did not work. The kitchen was not sanitized, and we felt unsafe-will never stay there again and booking.com does little in representing you as a customer.

We were getting on a cruise and wanted to unwind ahead of it and get over jet lag (we were travelling from Australia). We stayed on the other end from downtown and the terminal. We had great access to the beach and the restaurants around here were great. Lots of little, what appeared to be mostly family owned. The neighbourhood was just that - a neighbourhood. Felt safe and lots of friendly people around. We did spend some time up near the cruise terminal with family who booked in a large well known hotel. It was way more sterile without the great restaurants and shops and certainly didn’t feel like a neighbourhood.

I like Long Beach a lot, but a visitor has to do some research because the amount of sights, restaurants, and events are just too many to list. Every time I go to Long Beach I make a new list of restaurants to experience.

If you stayed in Belmont Shore in the last couple years...
If you stayed in Belmont Shore in the last couple years there was decline in the area. Belmont is back, new restaurants and shops have opened. Much less homeless, more police and security. I felt totally comfortable on the latest trip.

Roaches are a big no for me.
Roaches are a big no for me. They lay eggs and all it could take is one to leave with you and then you have an infestation. They really need to take care of that, especially being that the cost of stay was $170.00 for one night. I would be in expectation to not see a single roach or critter. The staff was nice and the room appeared to be clean. However, the fact that there were roaches upon my arrival diminished the entire appearance of cleanliness. I would not stay there again because I would not want to take bugs home with me.
This place has got to be by far the best hotel I have stayed in hands down!!!!! It’s pet friendly! Check in was so fast and easy, the restaurant and bar staff were absolutely incredible. The food was great and drinks were heavy handed. Room was beautifully decorated and clean, pool was an absolute dream after dancing all night at the event we attended just 2 mins away. Room service was offered every morning. I will be making this my yearly spot to stay at ever June moving forward. Thank you Hotel Maya peace ✌🏻 out
The location of the hotel is really close to Long Beach airport and near The Hangar, a great indoor/outdoor place to eat dinner and lunch. I loved the bedroom, it was really clean, beautiful and very spacious. The black out curtains and the quality of the bed and beddings made our stay very comfortable.
The bathroom was very clean and well designed.
The breakfast in the morning was a must! Special mention to the diy waffle maker.
The Swimmingpool and jacuzzi were very clean and great to hang out around.
Terrible
We had to change and find another hotel!!!!
I wish some refund!
Pool was freezing the whole stay!!
Not enough of anything …towels soaps .. coffee from the start
Freezing hallway
Staff not sympathetic
Heater was not working properly or none at times
Room very old
All the Mattress were terrible for the back even for my young adult kids!
The hotel is located near a grocery store and bus stops. The room had a very good thermostat-controlled heating/cooling system. There were two chairs in the room so neither of us had to sit on the bed. The TV has DirecTV so there were many channels to choose from. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.
The location was perfect. Imagining all of the people traveling to and from New York and London was awe-inspiring. The staff were all kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, providing excellent service along with historical and general information. I have recommended the Queen Mary and Long Beach to everyone!
My room was very comfortable, staff was very professional and personable. They really go out of their way to make their guests feel welcomed.
Having a laundry room was a plus.
I hope corporate is reading this (also) as the staff representing your hotel deserves recognition for their work ethic
Room was well managed and sufficiently clean as any Other large hotel franchise you have in any major city and equally maintain for cleaness , bathroom, floors, sink and shower was exceptionally clean along with the room just by it's self was satisfactory. Definitely my hotel of choice.
Once I had found it, I felt safe and comfortable. Comfortable bed and very clean room. Modern looking and better than higher graded hotels. Near to everything on Ocean Blvd and downtown Long Beach. Best to stay in this area. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Recommended.
Staff were great! Our first room (a non-smoking room) wreaked of very recent smoke even with the policy of $250 fine to smoke in room!
Once that was remedied room was good and as expected for a hotel near airport!
New lobby looked great!
Very modern property, room was reasonably spacious. Hotel was close walking distance to restaurants and attractions such as aquarium, harbour tours and shopping precincts. Wifi and bottled water complimentary.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big and extremely clean. The staff was extremely nice and assisted us with whatever we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Long Beach.
The location of the cove hotel was perfect for me , as I travelled by uber . My room was amazing with comfortable beds and lovely clean modern facilities. And the staff we amazing...
My experience at the Greenleaf Hotel was fantastic. The non-smoking rooms were fresh and cozy, and the 24-hour front desk staff were always available to assist with any inquiries.
Booked this hotel based on its location from The Long Beach port for which my group was taking a cruise. Location was prime for food and other amenities which we enjoyed.
I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the renovations. The staff was exceptional, and the location near the beach was perfect for my needs.
