The overall location of the hotel was pretty good, a person who is capable of walking, everything was in walking distance. The bed was decent enough. The food and the cleanliness of the room could have been better. People with allergies needs to be on alert, because if you're a paying customer, they didn't offer me or made any suggestions to me that they have ways of taking care of you should you have any allergic reactions that they wash their linen in.
And if I had a way to upload this 8 minute video of the cleanliness of the room, I would.

Pros- Beautiful, historical, lots of stuff to do, lots of attractions. There is a fun "downtown" area full of bars and restaurants. There is a new casino too. Everything is within walking distance and if it's not, there were lots of Uber and lyfts.
Cons- Lots of homeless people living on the streets and sleeping in tents.

Super cute and welcoming city.
Super cute and welcoming city. I had the good fortune to meet a new friend who essentially played historian and tour guide during my stay. The food was good, the people were friendly, and I would’ve liked a few more days.

I love Louisville…. Have great friends there.
I love Louisville…. Have great friends there. Spent NYE watching Marr Rife at the Louisville Palace which was a blast. Did not like our stay though. It wasn’t the worst by far but from its rating I expected more/better.
Just about everything! We already knew it was on a busy highway & very near the runways to the Louisville airport. The airplanes on their flight paths sometimes woke us up in the early mornings. We were away from the hotel at the NAILE most of the time so we’re not bothered only in late night & early mornings!
We had a couple registration issues which taken care in a helpful professional fashion!
I stayed here only because the Grady Hotel in downtown Louisville screwed me in my opinion. I won't ever stay there.
This hotel was adequate. The room was small, but ok, the Kitchen amenities were nice though. The shower was nice but the design was flawed and a lot of water ran onto the bathroom floor requiring attention so I didn't slip and fall and hurt myself.
The build was very dirty and are room had a funky smell to it. And the door are not locked to get in and out of the building. Anyone and walk in and out without a key. We left a day early because of it. We will never go back to this hotel on our next trip to Louisville. Worst place I have ever stayed at.
Um the list is too long to post everything but I must say the room was awesome great views and just a real modern feel and look and a huge shout out to Justin Weeks the GM! As far as I'm concerned there is no other hotels in Louisville! If your not staying at the Moxy, are you really on vacation?
Stayed at this hotel for an expo in Louisville. The expo center is only 15 minutes away from this hotel. All of the other hotels closer to the expo were $$$ so this was a great value. Free breakfast and located right off of the highway. Will stay again!
The location of The Bellwether Hotel was situated around lots of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. The bed was so very comfortable along with the beautiful decorated space. I thoroughly enjoyed the easy check in and check out process.
Everything was fine the hotel is very close to a lot of restaurants and things to do which makes it nice. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff was nice. The restaurant the swizzler which was in the hotel the food was excellent!!! We loved it!
Room was great. Had a buzzer on the door for visually impaired people (which we are not) and was very loud. We were traveling with friends who considered themselves jokesters a quite enjoyed ringing the buzzer. I would recommend this hotel.
Staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean, room was spacious and provided daily housekeeping, breakfast was good, soda and popcorn machine was a hit. Pool area kept nice, prices very fair, overall great experience!
The hotel is beautiful, staff is wonderful very friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional we had to try all things Louisville the Hot Brown, Derby pie, they were amazing.
The young gentleman who checked us in to the hotel was very polite and helpful.
Was very impressed that after about an hour rang to make sure our room was ok.
Cool old hotel if you’re into that kind of thing.
A lot of history. Reminds you of The Shining.Right next to 4th Street Live and The Louisville Palace Theater.
This hotel is clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything in Downtown Louisville! The staff was extremely friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.
