Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis Burnsville, hotel in Burnsville

A 25-minute drive from downtown Minneapolis, this hotel offers an indoor swimming pool and a hot tub. It is located at the intersection of Interstate 35 East and West.

Although remodeling was taking place, the room I stayed in, was very comfortable and already remodeled. Remodeling in the hallways was not a problem. Plus, it was very close to the airport and made my morning commute very easy.

I would not stay at this hotel again .

I would not stay at this hotel again . Rooms is dated and pillows are small more for kids. Utility room could be closed. Soda machines could be filled. The only nice thing is the bfast dinning room where it has be updated.

We were there for a weekend family reunion in Lakeville which is just down the road a bit. We looked up local microbreweries and found one very close to where we stayed. Ineffable was great! The beer was good and the food was really good too! We drove to nearby Prior Lake and checked out their farmer's market and then headed to Antler Park in Lakeville.

The owner and office staff are very rude and arrogant. Have no compassion or understanding of their customers. Without us they would not have a business. The guest are your business and treating them as less than you is just not ok.

We have stayed at a few different hotels in the area and this time decided on the Hampton in Burnsville. Very glad to have made that choice. Room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Will stay at this one from now on when we travel to Burnsville and will look for one to stay in when we travel elsewhere.

All in all it was a decent hotel. The staff were all very nice and they had some candy, snacks, and soda for sale at the desk. It wasn't prices too terribly high like some places. The location was pretty quiet with a breakfast restaurant next door and a gas station in walking distance on the other side. It was close to the highway we came off of and the other one we needed to leave on. Room was clean and beds were comfy. We didn't eat breakfast because we weren't hungry so I can't speak on that.

It was nice having the restaurant adjoinng the hotel. We were interested to try out the "Farm to Table" Morgan's style. We found the service great & the atmosphere was also very nice. Sadly, I felt the food was very plain & not particularly tasty. My husband liked his entre better than I did mine. We did find a hit in the Creme Brulee dessert that we shared!! YUM!! We also returned for breakfast the next day. He was happy with his , but mine was close to tastless. A new chef might be helpful!!

Room size was good. Breakfast was pretty good (for Covid). Very large breakfast area, which we really appreciated, so we could distance from others. Good beds and pillows, and the hotel was quiet, so we were able to sleep well. The location was very convenient. The price was good for MSP, so it was a good value. Every worker we interacted with (at least 5) was friendly and helpful.

The location is really the singular positive here - there are shops nearby, and close proximity to highways makes it easy to do Valleyfair or MoA, etc. A moment of interaction with front desk was fine. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, but we didn't use it. IF you must use this hotel, get a room on the quiet side of the building - not the side facing the highway.

The hotel is located very close to central Burnsville, close to shops and restaurants in a very nice, quiet and secure area. The staff was helpful. The restaurant is really nice with lots of options and just slightly higher than average price.

The convenience of being able to have breakfast was like though the food itself was just OK. Also, we were in the area for a particular purpose and this hotel was just a few minutes away from where we were going.

For the most part we actually feel like a guest. Something rare in hotels within this budget. This hotel is like a favorite warm hoody. A little tattered in places but very comfortable. Great beds.
