This hotel was a bit "worn" but it was very clean and comfortable! Its the 1st hotel that ive seen, that took care of all types of guests! There was covered outdoor smoking areas for the smokers and an actual nice lawn area for the dog owners ( instead of a field full of weeds). The staff were very pleasant and friendly as all get out!

Nice hotel, clean, good staff, rooms are roomy and nice. Just Make Sure that your Room Heater isn't broken? We are an older couple and we couldn't get the DARN heater to turn down? After quite some time trying to Adjust the temperature we finally just figured out how to turn it off and tried to sleep on top of the bad covers with the Window open.(Thank God for that!) I didn't get much sleep but the wife was able to rest at least. Thank You

As the state capital Helena is obviously central in the development and history of Montana. The early wealth generated by vast mineral resources, lumber and cattle can be seen in the buildings and mansions from the 1880s in the center of town.
Downtown is now devoted to coffee shops, restaurants, gift shops and antique stores. The Cathedral, Capital building and Governors Mansion are worth seeing. Fort Harrison, the birthplace of the First Special Forces " Devils Brigade" is of special interest to military history buffs.

Surprisingly cool city with decent downtown area and many surrounding neighborhoods worth checking out for food, drinks, shopping. Great hiking in nearby parks. Would have spent an extra day there if I had the time.

If your an out of state tourist , you have the Capital building to see. Holter lake is not to far away and I hear that the "Gates of the Mountians" tour is very seanic and pretty. I suppose there is other things to do there also but I only come over to Helena once in a great while to visit Fort Harrison for medical appointments.

The morning dining room attendant was nowhere to be seen until we were ready to leave so some supplies were in need of replenishing
Overall stay was satisfactory
My previous experience of Best Western hotels have been in the UK where the overall experience has been average with generally tired hotels. However, the opposite was the case at this hotel in Helena. The staff were very helpful the room a really good size and great value for money. There was also a very good sized swimming pool and fitness centre. The general location was good for Helena (just 15 minute walk to the main centre) and there was a nicely kept area just outside the hotel to sit and eat lunch/have a drink.
We stayed for two night. It was VERY clean, not far from anything in Helena, the staff was nice. The breakfast was very good. Lots of options, handy with kids. It’s 500ft (walk distance) from Shellie’s restaurant. The pool was really cold but we weren’t staying there for the pool. We stayed for value and the value was great! I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
The hotel room was sparkling clean, large, super comfortable. The young lady at the desk was incredibly nice, helpful and informative. There was convenient parking, and the hotel is a short drive from downtown Helena, which is a charming city full of interesting buildings and activities. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety of foods.
Enjoyed breakfast. Good selection.Variety of food items that were easy to assemble. Enjoyed frozen meal from hotel store at our suite as we were too tired to go out.
Liked modern look of hotel with new furniture and kitchenette . Lots of shelving to keep luggage of the floor.
Liked the curtain separation-Brilliant!
We arrived very late. Your hotel management was awesome but there was zero parking. The bathtub wasn't super clean but we managed. We needed extra sheets for our pullout couch and went to the front desk to get some. The room was a good size and it was quiet.
The staff is very friendly. They are very prompt and seem like they genuinely care about you.
The breakfast is nice. I like how you can just select what you want from the refrigerator.
I like the look of the main entrance when you come into the hotel.
Stayed in many $100 a night motel/hotels and this one is a good choice. New bed and carpet. Mini fridge and microwave AND a coffee maker. Large room and bathroom. Clean and large. Hot and cold breakfast. Would stay here again :)
- great location in downtown Helena
- lots of restaurants in walking distance nearby
- comfortable and very modern hotel rooms
- Breakfast (13$) with lots of fresh options and omelette station
