Staff at front desk was great; however, the shortness of housekeepers is not good; especially when a guest comes to get away and relax, then have to request clean linen and towels to do housekeeping job is not cool.

Its a very racist hotel.
Its a very racist hotel. With the staff and the guest staying there too. Even my kids say it. Plus we had to go down to the front desk and for house keeping didn't get housekeeping until after 8 pm going to 9 before the house man came and clean our room. Not even my kids room were clean

Horizon Inn is 40 minutes by Train from Newyork to Avenel; and the Motel is just 10 minute's walk from the train station. The Horizon Inn is located in a very quiet, leafy area which I liked the most. The manager and the staff are very friendly and helpful; they even allowed me to use their mobile phone to make a call to a restaurant for food as my phone didn't work. The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. There was no breakfast and the pool was not open, due to New Jersey Covid rules. Coffee was still available in the lobby, as well as snacks and drinks for sale.
