We always look for local businesses or small local chains. We enjoyed two different local coffee shops and a nearby restaurant. There are a lot of options for food, coffee, and shopping. It is a nice area.

The wall paper in the room was falling off the walls cracked ceiling the bathroom was not clean the shower. Door leaked. The shower was kinda of not clean the towels were good 😕 beds not very comfortable it was not worth the price it's a nice place. To bad the hotel was kinda not ok wal mart is close the shopping is. Very clean Room, the beds were comfortably, the location is very convenient to the main attractions, few steps to Broadway street, parking is across the street from the hotel. And the staff was very friendly

Suburb of Akron near a large shopping mall, several smaller strip malls, and the Cuyahoga National Park was very close as well. Just 30 minutes to Cleveland, the interstate was less than 5 minutes from the hotel.

Montrose was well located for our needs. there was a lot of good restaurants nearby, and a lot of shops. Major highways were very handy. Montrose may not be a dream vacation destination, but if you need to be in the Akron, Medina area, it is an excellent place to stay
