Coos Bay is a charming community on the Oregon Coast.
Coos Bay is a charming community on the Oregon Coast. Given my agenda, I wasn't there on vacation or to enjoy the sights, but anyone looking for a nice vacation spot might want to consider a day or two in Coos Bay.

Coos Bay's access to the ocean and beaches is excellent.
Coos Bay's access to the ocean and beaches is excellent. There are great places to eat and there is a new boardwalk shopping mall that will be awesome when completely filled with businesses.
The old town along 101 N & S has many interesting shops to browse and buy great things.

Coos Bay is a nice town.
Coos Bay is a nice town. Wish we could have found better places to eat. The town itself, or what we saw of it seemed dirty but it is a coastal town. The Mill Casino was the best place we visited although we did not win. One restaurant we ate at made us both sick. I guess we should have looked around more and maybe next time, if there is a next time, we will look around more. Sunset beach was awesome!!

The beaches around the area are gorgeous, there's plenty to see. Also nice sand dunes to ride around on. There's a great restaurant in Charleston, which is just a short drive from Coos Bay/ North Bend (and near a couple of the beaches), called Miller's at the Cove. Overall a great area to visit!

The views were fantastic.
The views were fantastic. The casinos were filled with smokers, bad smoke smell. Gas prices were a bit higher than was expected. The wildlife game park in Bandon is an awesome site for the whole family and is fairly close by. Sunset Bay is one of my favorites. We ate at the Kozy kitchen great food but short staff as with most places.
It was a perfect get away for Hard working people. Quiet...Friendly neighbors and pets.. The house had a bunch of unexpected amenities... candy...wine...Bandaids...coffee etc. Really love learning about the history of the house and area. The antiques throughout were a pleasurable surprise...and the bed upstairs made us feel like royalty. Thank you for a relaxing time with my family. Coos Bay is a hidden treasure.
I loved everything. The room was beautiful and so clean, great quality toiletries, nice big towels and a microwave, fridge, coffee maker etc. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The views were spectacular, (back of hotel) and the coolest thing was the coffee area, where they had syrups and many different creamer flavors. Saved us from having to go to a coffee shop.
The house was so cozy! We really loved it! The hot tub would have been amazing if it was available.. the fire pit, back deck, heated floors , and game room are awesome! My favorite was the big windows with beautiful forest view! We love coos bay!
Good value and quirky paintings on the hotel walls. Very clean when we arrived. There’s a little path on the other side of the road that leads to a very quiet secluded beach. Great place to just sit at night and watch the sunset
I remember this property. When it was first built when it was the cortelle Coos Bay. It was the place toago it had a great restaurant it had Good quality accoutrements it's not that now
