Great stopping off place if doing extensive traveling . Not a real tourist destination. Crater Lake proximity. Klamath Grill in old downtown has a great breakfast with extensive menu, friendly staff, Veteran discount.

The desk clerk was very nice.
The desk clerk was very nice. The bed and toilet and sink were nice. The overall cleanliness wasn't very good. It needs major updating on furnishings ,flooring and chairs. The smoke detector was missing and wires were hanging from it. Not sure how safe that was.The window was dirty the mirror wasn't very clean as well. The bed was new so it was comfy. But the rest of room was just not in good shape.

Crater Lake National Park is 50 miles away and well worth the trip. There is a charming little downtown area that has coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants. One day is plenty to see the city, but more if you are exploring the beautiful area.

Only stayed one day, visiting friends.
Only stayed one day, visiting friends. Ate at the Klamath Grill for breakfast, which was good. Getting around by car was a little confusing, due to the blinking traffic lights. Liked the quaint small town atmosphere.

We love Klamath Falls.
We love Klamath Falls. My sister and her family moved here several years ago, and we try to visit every chance we get. We live in Salem are of Oregon and so it takes a drive to get to Klamath Falls.
Usually we stay with my sister but this last visit we brought other family with us. Did a shopping trip to local shops and hit the garage sale scenes.
I arrived after a reasonably long motorcycle ride and was welcomed by the staff - really nice people. I was given a ground-floor room with parking for my motorcycle directly outside, as I'd requested. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable I slept late the following morning.
This is my third stay in four years - I holiday from the UK every year and always use hotels where I have had good service before - The Cimarron Inn at Klamath Falls is on my list - I'll definitely stay here again.
After reading great reviews on Trip Advisor, I booked a room. Then after speaking with the owner, Luisa, I was even more impressed. I told her there was a chance I may have to leave early and she assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. When I arrived, she told me I could check in early. The room while small, was super clean and comfortable. It was quiet and close to restaurants and amenities. Should I pass through Klamath Falls again, I will be staying at the Golden West!!
Upon checking in, I was greeted very warmly by the owner (I believe her name is Louisa?). The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. I stayed for two nights and slept very well both nights. This hidden gem of a motel has a noticeably friendly charm in the air and the next time I am in Klamath Falls, I will definitely be staying here!
I didn't eat breakfast. I was impressed with the young man at the front desk while checking in.
Very polite well mannered , very informative of services during my stay.
I was very appreciative of a young man having such good etiquette, manners, and very respectful. That doesn't happen in klamath falls in places of business.
My room was very clean and comfortable. It’s a small motel and all the rooms are at ground level. Covered parking right outside room door. The room felt safe and secure and my drive into downtown Klamath Falls for breakfast was very quick and easy. This motel beats those big box economy chains any day.
Amazing place with complete and outstanding facilities: warm living room with cromecast TV, large kitchen including all tools, washing machine, perfect beds. It is a quiet place that excels all other ones in Klamath Falls. I recommend to book!
Excellent location right on the lake with fantastic views. Walking distance to main street and the start of some of the trails. Useful little convince store in the hotel that had a few essentials for when you didn't feel like going out.
We liked that it was right off the freeway. The guy at the front desk was really nice. He was very welcoming and gave us information about near by stores and the times they closed. He was the only thing we really liked about the hotel!
This place is the nicest we have stayed in Klamath Falls and we have been there 8 times at least. The room was as advertised, and even bigger. The pool was clean. The people were nice. There are a lot of things to do in the area.
The comfort of the bed and the sheets was exceptional. Of the hotels we stayed in over ten days of traveling, this one was the best. There were also plenty of places to eat in the vicinity of downtown where the hotel is located.
NIce surprise. Just a motel but super convenient to downtown and near pizza and bakery. Unfortunately brewery next store was closed and for sale. Very convenient when traveling through Klamath Falls.
The hotel was a good value basic level hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location has good access to nearby shops and main roads to surrounding areas.
the staff at the hotel and the staff at the Ruddy Duck restaurant were exceptional! They are what made the stay so enjoyable. The grounds are wonderful as well!
