Monroeville is the Gateway to Pittsburgh from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Lots to do, great restaurants, great variety of shopping locations, places of worship for Hindus, Jews, Catholics, Protestants, and other religions. Great diversity. Far enough from Pittsburgh to be safe and suburban, but close enough to drive 20 minutes so see the sights of Mt Washington, experience the universities, medical centers,
cultural events, and all Pittsburgh has to offer. We love it.

When you're in Monroeville - all types of stores/restaurants are right there! TX Roadhouse is right across the street - they have delicious salmon (very moist), wonderful shrimp and their steaks are fantastic too! This hotel has a fantastic location! There's a Par 2 Golf course on Northern Pike for a nice family activity as well.

This sprawling strip of commercial restaurants and shops is good for someone who wants to find things, like chain stores and eateries. It's close enough to the "real" town, Pittsburgh, so it's a decent place to stay. I did eat at two places that I would recommend--Mad Mex and Coast and Main.

We found a good selection of shopping and restaurants in Monroeville. We like to stay there because it is close to Kennywood and Pittsburgh.
It is easy to travel around and find great shopping at the mall and strip plazas with all the stores we were looking for. Lots of restaurants to choose from as well.

the only thing I like there's a maintenance guy he was really nice and that and the one housekeeper she let us in the room and then when the maintenance guy went by I had told him and my sister that there's something wrong with our thing that you said your car down to and then he checked it he says no it was the room key it was very nice and went up there and he got me two new keys to go in there and they worked and I told him thank you very much those are the only two things I like there
Excellent location. Room was clean. Small microwave and small refrigerator were provided. Two double beds, both comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is pet friendly, but no pets caused us difficulties. No free breakfast, but free coffee and cider were available in lobby and coffee maker was in room. Overall, it was a good value for the price and I hope they will continue with remodeling in bathroom.
We reserved 2 rooms on Booking.com in June at the Extended stay in Monroeville PA. total charge was $433.15. We received confirmation 3610735352. When we arrived they only had 1 room available and said that was all booking.com had booked. We were able to get a room at another property, but due to the error it cost us $$267.92 more. I am submitting both receipts.

Was there with a group of people. Dirty, dated, carpets were stained, beds sheets were stained. Had to change my room. Several people that I travel with left location. One family slept in their vehicle until the next morning. Paid $700 for 3 nights and still had to pay for breakfast, $15 per person and it was terrible. Worst hotel ever! Terrible terrible terrible!!!
The location was ideal for us - right off the PA Turnpike, with quick access to downtown Pittsburgh, and right outside of Monroeville but removed from the congestion. The townhouse was comfortable and ideal in size and configuration for our group of four adults. The kitchen was well-stocked with breakfast beverages and condiments.
Breakfast was good and the hours of it were fair. I was happy with the soaps provided in the shower and the number of towels. I was very happy with the TV’s channel selection. Happy with the hotel’s location in relation to my ultimate destination.
I found it clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It offered a fairly good, but not great, breakfast in the lobby. The location was centrally located in Monroeville, a short driving distance from shopping and restaurants.
breakfast pretty much picked over when I got up but looked to be a variety available. Beds were super comfy. Quiet until morning wake ups. Hotel itself appeared to have been updated (new carpet, paint) recently.
Everything was great . only complaint the whirlpool didnt make bubbles that was the reason I went . but everything else was great . I treated myself too a lovely stay at the hotel . i was happy thank you.
Room was clean, bright and modern. Pool in hotel was lovely but freezing cold temperature. Staff very helpful and professional. Breakfast was ok and standard but area was clean and well kept.
Nice area even though it’s on a busier street. I’ve always loved this hotel. I think I’ve stayed there 6 times? I’m not 100% sure on that but I know I choose to stay there over anywhere else.
Location was central to what I needed during my visit to Monroeville. The room was adequately sized and had exactly what I needed to safely work from my room - ample desk space.
Came for the living dead weekend. Convenient to Monroeville Mall. Better choice than hotel next to the mall. Helpful and prompt staff. Coffee available at front desk 24-7.
