The island is big, but you can go everywhere easily with public transportation, the bus station is near to the port and they have very clear schedules, the buses leave on time and you can pay by card for the tickets. It has less tourists and the restaurants are also very good in price and quality.

Parikia is a good place to begin your travels of Paros. it is a convenient location to base yourself in as there is a bus terminal that allows you to take a short ride to Naoussa and surrounding areas. Overall, we preffered the small village of Aliki for a longer stay, as it was quiter and had a more relaxing vibe. The beaches in Parikia were not overly special, and I would not advise staying here if you desire luxury scenery. If you wish to visit the nicer beaches, definitely hire an ATV. Overall, Parikia itself has affordable food and accomodation options.

Parikia used to be the black sheep of the family concerning Paros villages. Eveyone told me that Naoussa is the best place to be. I beg to differ. Paros has come under a big progress restaurant wise and is one of the few greek islands where you can have so many options in dining, especially italian. The only thing missing from Parikia is a bar or club where people can dance all night. It's the puzzle piece that will complete the upgrade.

You wont find a decent restaurant even tho there are numerous ones to choose from .......... I have been to numerous locations in Greece and so i can speak from experience. With a constant daily supply of new customers (many doing island hopping) restaurants are being lazy and charging for having olive oil on my table says it all ....

Rent a car in advance because there are 30 taxis on the island. The bus worked well, however, they had a schedule that sometimes did not work for everybody. Restaurants in Parikia are not all not good and it depends on what are you looking for.
Our stay at Kontaratos studios and apartments was absolutely wonderful! George and his wife are the best hosts we have ever had. They are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure that your stay is perfect. Their compassionate customer service is top notch. The room was everything that we hoped for. The third floor veranda gave us the best view of the island. The location was ideal as it was a short walk to port and many bars and restaurants in town. We would highly recommend Kontaratos to anyone visiting Paros.
My granddaughters and I arrived early to Parikia airport and were able to leave our bags and change into bathing suits to enjoy the beautiful pool until our room was available at 1pm. We had left Granada, Spain the night before with a bus to Malaga and flight to Athens and change planes to fly to Paros! It was exhausting, but we were so excited it didn't seem to affect our stay. The Polos was perfect and I highly recommend it for staying in Parikia. Easy walking distance to all amenties and close to the bus stop.
The service Villa Anna provided is exceptional. She had everything we might need for our holidays ready, from kitchen necessities to guides and references so that we could enjoy our visit to Paros to the fullest. Out of all the hotels ive visited this particular one left me and my friends in awe from the beauty of the house and its location and we were amazed by how helpful the owners were. If you want to visit Paros and have an enjoyable stay at an incredible house, Villa Anna is definitely a number one choice.
The hotel was conveniently located just a 12 minute walk from the port which made getting around the island easy. The lady at the front desk was always helpful and provided me lots of resources and tips on how to get to and from other parts of the island. Easy access to food, shops, restaurants, ferry port, and bus!
The cleaning staff are so thorough and the rooms get cleaned each day. Wonderful.
Overall, if you are considering Paros, do it and stay here! Much more enjoyable than Mykonos & Santorini.
What a great place to stay when in Paros.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother.
The room was big and i loved the wall painting, it was different to a little picture hung on the wall. We had a clothes rack which dried our washing quickly.
Pool was welcoming and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic.
The beach was like 100mt walk and the hotel was 50mt from the shops and restaurants.
We would stay there again.
Our stay at Paradisio Boutique was truly amazing. The exceptional hospitality of the hosts, coupled with the pristine cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations, made our vacation all the more special. We will cherish the breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and the fond memories of overlooking the scenic horizon. Overall, we highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone seeking an enchanting retreat in Paros.
When in Paros we always go back to the Anna Platanou as this hotel is exceptionally confortable and welcoming. The Rooms are nicely decorated, with very comfortable bed. The pool area is relaxing with plenty of sunbeds and place to relax. Breakfast is very good and the situation (close to Parikia center and seaside but in a calm area, with parking facility right in front of the hotel ) is perfect !
Everything was exactly as pictured. The host was incredible, Dimitra exceeded all expectations… she offered a helping hand whenever needed, got us anything we asked for in a very timely manner and she baked us yummy goods every morning which was a fun surprise always. She kept the place clean… felt like we were at a five star hotel… would definitely recommend her home to anyone who comes to Paros!
Paros Five Senses is a very new property run by the most amazing and loving hosts that will give you all the info you need to have the best time in Paros. Home made breakfast every day, delicious! The rooms are minimalistic but so beautiful, the view from the room over the sea, olive trees and the sunset is stunning. I loved this place so much we extended our stay. I will be back!
Best view in Paros! Very comfortable, clean room. The hosts are extremely friendly, even letting us chill by the pool before our ferry, long after we’d checked out. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the restaurants in town. There is a steep hill that approaches the hotel but some exercise after dinner is no bad thing.
The owner met us at the port and gave us a run down of the island. He offered us coffee and water on arrival. He gave us a map and detailed info about what to see and do in Paros. The hotel is so cute! I loved the colours and decor it felt super homey. The rooftop had the best sunset view!
Hotel was awesome - less than 10 minute walk from Port, so there is no need for a taxi. Staff were friendly and eager to assist. Room was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Would highly recommend hotel and would stay again next time in Paros.
The view from the balcony was incredible! Especially from the hot tub! The host is incredibly sweet and helpful and very accommodating! The island of Paros is absolutely stunning and offers some of the best food and historical sights in Greece!
Fantastic location if staying in parikia. Good value at under 100€/night
Staff v friendly and gave us tips of what to do on paros
Short walk from bus terminal to other parts of paros and great restaurants
Good air conditioning
Absolutely exceptional, the staff is the best, amazing service. Breakfast are incredibly delicious. No question that during our next trip to Paros we will be returning to this hotel.
The property was very cute and gave you an insight to the aesthetic of Paros island. It was within walking distance to the main area of Parikia, and was good value for money.
Very clean hotel with an extremely kind staff. The rooms are really comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is delicious and filling. Definitely stay here when in Paros!
Great stay at Polo Hotel Paros! Super comfy bed and warm welcome from the staff - much appreciated. ++ for the breakfast that was amazing and had plant-based milk :)
