North of busy Kuta and Legian on Indonesia’s fabled island of Bali are the idyllic beaches in Seminyak and nearby Petitenget Beach. The once densely green jungle canopy of this area has been replaced by luxury spa resorts, villas and clubs, but it still retains a peaceful charm.
Seminyak Square features a modern shopping centre with designer labels, and there are various shops in the main street selling Indonesian antiques.
Adrenalin junkies can launch into a 45-metre high bungee jump run by New Zealand’s famous AJ Hackett Bungy franchise, located at one of the many nightclubs in Seminyak.
The impressive and tranquil Tanah Lot temple is a short drive away from Seminyak and the perfect place to watch the sun dip into the Indian Ocean.
Whether you are looking for a boutique villa, romantic retreat or beachside guest house, Booking.com has you covered!
I loved the amazing food and so cheap!! Great quality meals and service from all venues. Overwhelming at first in terms of traffic, millions of motorbikes and vendors trying to sell you their wares and services constantly (constantly!), but all of these things start to become part of the area’s charm within a short while. The locals are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back

Seminyak has many boutique shops and restaurants
Seminyak has many boutique shops and restaurants
The infrastructure is badly maintained and walking around is quite tricky and you always have to be alert to the dangers of tripping over broken pavements and roads
We would not return and feel that Kuta has more to offer - footpaths and roads in very good condition and a very relaxing paved esplanade along the beach

Seminyak was busy which we knew but having stayed in remote locations the last two visits we thought we would try something different. We did a lot of walking into the main shopping area of Seminyak and around the hotel however the metered taxi cabs were readily available and cheap.
We ate in local restuarants - Biku restaurant was a favourite as was the Warung Cantina on the beach.

No I would not recommend this property to anyone visiting Bali. The room and premises were not liveable combined with poor cleanliness, hygiene, soiled towels and nonoperational cooling. Furthermore, the person who was the cleaner residing onsite spoke very little English and failed to understand our concerns. Additionally, we were told the aircon could not be fixed and not compensated for relocating to another premises.

road not too busy like the rest of seminyak. nice eateries.
road not too busy like the rest of seminyak. nice eateries. lovely sunset at the beach- ate at moonlite which was expensive but beautiful view. cant swim at beach. you dont get too bothered by the locals on the streets and can barter well at the little shops. Massage places- pay more for better, trust me on this, the first one i had felt so dodgy with a man moaning in the curtain next to me :/.The next one I paid double (which was only the equivalent of $30) but it was beautiful and professional.

Horrible area where you can not walk 10 meters without someone trying to sell you something. Total chaos in busy times. As bad as Kuta. A lot of rich russians and asians in their "cool" night clubs drinking bad watered 10-15$ drinks.
Absolutely enjoyed staying at their villas! The rooms were nice (the mosquito net looked so pretty) & clean with great toiletries & loved having our own pool which was clean. Walking distance to the Seminyak Square & Seminyak Village shopping centres. Very central location with walking distance to well known cafes, shops & Motel Mexicola as examples. Would definitely recommend staying at the 2 bedroom villas (can’t comment on the hotel rooms as we didn’t stay in the hotel part). Great for couples or groups.
Staff so friendly n helpful , location perfect 1.1 km to the double six beach /seminyak , the surrounding so live but still get the quite time at night where we can relaxing and sleep well after whole day outside. Right beside hotel there is 24h minimarkt, many local warung with ind food. While western or indian rest , cafe and bar are easy to find nearby. Many laundry around the hotel as well local massage spa. Room provide with tea/coffee maker, room is cleaned and made up daily ..
With its friendly staff, clean rooms, and thoughtful amenities, it's the perfect choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat near the beach in seminyak.
One standout feature of this hotel is their thoughtful consideration for guests with late checkouts. The provision of a special room where you can fresh up and prepare for your flight, is a testament of their commitment to ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for all guests.
Breakfast is amazing and one of the best in Bali so far. So many options were available to choose from the buffet. Highly recommend the breakfast to be booked along with the room. Staff was kind and very helpful. Room was clean always. Bed and pillows were super comfortable as well. The rooftop terrace is great and great of a romantic dinner at night. Only positive thing is how close the hotel is to the beach just a 2 minute walk.
The property is in a great location, a short walk to the beach and to busy areas. The food in the restaurant was beautiful and reasonably priced! The room & hotel were very clean. We also made use of the spa which was nice too. Staff were super friendly and accommodating! Laundry service also available which was ideal after a couple of weeks in Bali. We stayed for four nights and would recommend to others travelling to Seminyak!
The service at the Seminyak is unmatched. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful, which we really appreciated. We were there on our honeymoon and they provided a number of thoughtful touches.
The hotel is beautiful, set on a quiet street in the heart of Seminyak with the most beautiful outlook on to the beach. The pool is the place to be at sunset. Breakfast was brilliant, there was so much to choose from.
Staff is so friendly and everything was well organized. Hotel is clean and quiet , swimming pool and Massage service are excellent. Location was great in the heart of Seminyak, I didn’t feel that its far from the beach or beach clubs around. In the area of the hotel there are some good restaurants and even if you choose to chill and stay at the hotel. Their food menu is pretty good as well
Good mid sized hotel located in a slightly quieter part of Seminyak with easy access to local beaches and nightlife in the Kota/Canggu area.
The room was clean and a decent size for two people, although I was solo. The pool is also quite aesthetic for relaxing, but not 24hrs.
Overall a decent budget hotel with the location being the best part.
Absolutely fabulous hotel, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Most staff went above and beyond for you. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The location of the hotel is nice too as it's out of the way of the main street, it's a good balance as it's not far at all from beach bars and restaurants in Seminyak.
Very nice hotel, with access to the beach. The sunsets are amazing viewed on the beach.
The staff is very friendly and willing to provide the best service.
The room was large, clean and the bed very comfortable.
The breakfast was tasty and with a lot of variety of choices.
The pool is quite large and suited for all ages.
The villa was beautiful, it was cleaned twice a day. The staff helped us with everything and the free shuttle was perfect to visit heart of seminyak. We would go back in a heart beat and highly recommend Nyuh Bali Seminyak to anyone who is looking for a relaxing time in Bali (with your own wonderful private pool!).
Great location in Seminyak, lots of restaurants & bars in walking distance. Beach was a 20 minute walk from the hotel which was perfect! The staff were very accommodating and friendly, always welcomed after coming in from a long day :). Pool area was fantastic very quiet too!
This place is definitely worth it! Very clean, friendly staff, 80m lap pool was amazing, in room massage can be organised, breakfast was adequate, 5mins walk to the beach, what more can you really ask for! Thank you so much for having us at Salila Beach Resort! 5 stars :)
I like staying at courtyard because it’s in the middle of the center everything is near from u in seminak plus u can walk 5min to get the beach . I like the pool how it’s huge and exptional . I’ve been at many hotels in Bali and that hotel was the best
Local style hotel.
Ideally located on Batu Belig Beach between Canggu and Seminyak. 10 minutes on foot to Finn's by the beach.
Very helpful and friendly staff
Big room, very clean hotel located on the beach, with own pool.
Very decently priced
This is a perfect hotel at the right location in Seminyak
Good to even walk around at late night from beach
All restaurant and bar nearby
Decent price
Good service
I am happy to consider this hotel again if i am keen to come back to Seminyak again
Raja Gardens is.a nice, calm and simple hotel, with a beautiful garden and a large swimming pool, in the center of Seminyak, just by the beach. You feel protected from the crowd here. The owners are very welcoming. I will come back!
This is a gem of a hotel in Bali, located right next to most of the awesome LGBT friendly bars and businesses. I strongly recommend it if you are part of the LGBT community. The staff is super friendly and the premises is pristine.
