Costinesti is a small sea side village full of young tourists, especially teenagers. It has a lot of restaurants/terraces/fast-food/ clubs facilities. Also here it is the biggest dance & night club in open air from the East side of Europe, Mega Discoteca Tineretului. Getting around Costinesti is very easy by walking on the main walking street, but quite difficult to find a parking place, especially in the height season.

The beach is biased towards paid lounge rentals, so the free zone is quite a small 20% of the total and it gets VERY crowded. Also the beach is not well maintained and quite dirty: empty plastic bottle, empty beer and soda cans, cigarette buts, used napkins, you get the picture ... If you like the night life there is more than plenty entertainment for all ages and tastes, but if you are an "early to bed, early to rise" type, rent a room as far as possible from the main promenade and "Tineretului" night club. The music is extremely loud and the DJs and MCs are using and abusing their microphones until early dawn (4 - 5am and is still noisy)

The beach is dirty with old and out of date facilities . You can’t find a shower to wash the sand before departing. Prices from my point of view are too high . No value for the money 😡. The staff on the beach was ok considering the place. they do what they can !

This “village” looks like 20 years ago. Very crowded, loud music and a lot of chaos. Very dirty and the urban or better said rural development is disgusting. I could do a top of the ugliest buildings ever seen in my life. To be avoided!!!!

It's a really cute place to go to with friends and have a nice time. The beaches are clean, there are plenty of places to eat and drink and have some fun. It's not very expensive either. It's not a very big area, but there are many shops and restaurants, bars, even some discos. Overall, I would gladly come back here.

RO: O statiune aglomerata care are tot ce iti doresti la un loc. Plimbarea pe lac, seara, poate fi o experienta romantica. Preturile la autoservire sunt demne de restaurant, iar mancarea in general nu ne-a impresionat. Sezlongurile erau 35 lei in weekend, dar se gaseste suficient loc si pentru prosop. EN: A busy area that has everything you could want in one place. A boat trip on the lake in the evening could be romantic. The prices at the self-service canteens match the ones in restaurants and the food isn't special. Sunbeds cost 35 lei at the weekend, but there is plenty of room on the beach if you prefer to lay on a towel.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. We had a balcony from where we could see the sea and the sunrise which was amazing. The breakfast had a lot of options - both sweet and savory and the fact that they have a terrace facing the sea where you can eat made it perfect. We had a fan in the room, but we didn't use it as the temperature was pleasant enough when we stayed there. There's a shared kitchen you can use if you want, with the usual helpful appliances, cutlery and dishes. The fridge is nice, bigger than what you'll find at many hotels. The hosts are really nice and helpful, at any hour of the day.

The owner was really polite and let me check-in early and stay longer than the check-out time since there were free rooms. Would recommend this for a weekend stay in Costinesti.
