We loved our stay at Moreni. It’s high in the mountains (1800m) next to Sofia, and it takes about 25-35 minutes to drive up. They had free parking, big rooms and a delicious restaurant. The view of Sofia from the restaurant is also impressive. We also used their mini-spa, which was just enough to relax after our 6-hour drive from Bucharest. The beds were super comfy. Everything is very well cleaned and maintained. We booked an apartment, and someone also slept on the couch in the living room.
