We had a spacious, airy, bright room which was well furnished and impeccably clean. The breakfast buffet offered a huge choice of excellent fresh food and dinner in the restaurant was delicious. It's the grandest hotel we've ever stayed in with a palatial main staircase and its own cloister!

We used the gym and the pool, which were first class. The location for a city break in Burgos, was perfect. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We are already planning another trip and this will be our hotel of choice.

Nevertheless, the beds are not good in Spain in general terms. The breakfast was good. The personnel was really kind. The location was excellent.
