Pool was amazing - we saw a herd of elephants go by whilst swimming. Day spa was seriously amazing - best massage! In the middle of the massage, a hippo went past the massage room.

Especially Lapa, the dinner restaurant, was wonderful, including a music/dance-program by performers from a neighbour village. Pure Africa-feeling made by long wooden walkways, friendly staff, huge guest areas and game view due to location right at Sabie River, bridge to Paul Kruger Gate. We booked "Luxury Room" which was quite big with fully (up to ceiling) separated toilet and fully separated bathroom. TV around 40 inch with smartphone mirror cast.

The renovated rooms were nice, modern, clean, and very spacious. The whole hotel complex is very big, but it's nicely designed, e.g. the trees are beautifully lit at night, there's a wooden bridge through a picturesque garden and a great view into Kruger Park. The choices for dinner were immense, and the food itself was tasty. Onsite breakfast was also great.

The game drives were spectacular and had well educated guides. Breakfast, lunch & dinner options are rather selected, but the quality is great and the staff always makes an effort to give everyone the best experience! Booking this lodge at a private game reserve makes the whole experience so relaxed & cozy. It’s very easy & fun to get in touch with other groups staying there.

Loved the poolside bar overlooking the river even though we didn't see any wildlife. Very good choice of buffet dinner meal and lovely breakfast selection.
