Set in Shanklin, the recently renovated The Bay house Apartments, shanklin offers accommodation 200 metres from Shanklin Beach and 15 km from Blackgang Chine. It was a joyful experience. Warm welcome from host and treat’s especially hot chocolate, kids loved it. It was very nice , clean and comfy and we got everything we needed during our stay with our kids . It was raining and we reached earlier and host was so cooperative and messaged that apartment ready to check in , and we got everything to make ourselves tea, coffee , hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. So we didn’t have to stop anywhere or rush out for a drink . Later in afternoon weather got better and we left for our venture after freshen up.

Close to railway station and town facilities. Host lives on site, so very convenient for keys and commun. Apartment was very clean and well appointed.

Chine Side is set in the quaint old part of Shanklin, with thatched cottages and lovely stone houses. Our stay was perfect, from the friendly greeting by our host John to our lovely room with views of the amazing gardens. Breakfast served in the elegant dining room with fresh coffee, fruits, toast and other delicious treats. There is a comfortable lounge with a balcony overlooking the gardens where you can relax after a long day exploring this amazing island.
