Very quiet place in green village, super nice hosts. Location is good if you are travelling by car. House is cosy and better in reality than on pictures in booking. Beds are comfortable, 3 bathrooms, big terrasse with garden view. Hanging chair and a lot of books in French. Do not forget to bring your towels with you!

I like everything - location, peace, silence, facilities, but especially owners. I had problem with motorcycle tire and owners helped to find place where to buy and mount tire and even helped with car. Feeling as home, as family.

It was an excellent location for getting out and about as well as a great space for relaxing with the pool and large grounds. Trees in the garden and plenty of sun umbrellas meant you could find a shady spot. The hammock and sun loungers were also enjoyed for relaxing in the sun. Having a well equipped ensuite for each bedroom made it really convenient for our group. The kitchen facilities ( dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, cooker and microwave) were also very good and made self catering easy. The choice of an inside and outside dining space was great and we used both areas a lot as well as the BBQ. Having 3 external doors out it made it feel spacious with 6 adults especially as two of the bedrooms could be accessed without going through the kitchen which was useful when using the outside pool. The bedroom windows and doors also had black out blinds which helped to keep them cool in the heat. We really enjoyed our holiday in Normandy and were so glad we found Ndila Cottage.

The gite itself was lovely. Nice outdoor eating area and shared pool which our daughter loved. Host quick to respond to questions. 10 minute drive to Honfleur. Clean and lots of cutlery and cooking equipment.

The gîte was private, well equipped, very clean. The hosts thought about heating and fans for when it was cold. We had our own verandah , Sun loungers and sun shade. It was very quiet although all gites were rented out. The swimming pool was very clean and plenty of Sun loungers. Pétanque available and bbqs for each gite. The hosts were perfect; they were available when needed but left us to ourselves otherwise. Fatouville-Grestain is an idyllic place- two restaurants- ‘L’eau Vive’ and one other. So many places easily accessible from there. Honfleur just down road, Deauville and its beautiful beach 1/2 hr away and a lovely, peaceful retreat the ancient abbey of Grestain just down road. Supermarkets only a few miles away also- Lidl, Aldi, Intermarché and lots of epiceries.
