There were plenty of people enjoying their drinks outside when we arrived, which showed it was a popular place. The barman worked so hard (as I'm sure did people we didn't see). The pizzas were delicious. The breakfast was self-service. The coffee was not brilliant but the owner tried his best to bring us everything we wanted. Everything else was fine.

Friendly and efficient hosts, and a well appointed room with comfortable beds and a decent sized bathroom. Warm on a chilly night with extra fluffy blankets too. Very good evening meal with a decent range of beers and ciders, and a lovely cooked breakfast to start the following day. A really pleasurable stay.
