The cottage was equipped to such a high standard, it had everything you need and the hosts have thought of everything, so many nice touches. Beds were really comfortable and the cottage was spotless. Hosts were fantastic and the area and surroundings were stunning.

Our stay at the cottage was very comfortable - could not have been better! Well furnished to a high standard and fully equipped- we felt very much at home there. Beds and towels changed and a clean half way through our stay was a welcome touch. Local amenities all close by and great transport links make Whalley a good base for exploring the beautiful Ribble Valley area. Highly recommended.

Very good facilities, very clean, a cosy retreat.and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. This is on a farm with sheep and very friendly chickens but it wasn't nosiy at all and so nice to hear .sounds of the countryside. Owners are lovely.

Plenty to see and do in the near by villages and Forest of Bowland plus some lovely walks on the doorstep (no need to use the car). The cottage is beautifully clean and well supplied with everything you need to self cater and the owners were very helpful when necessary. Would definitely recommend.

Be prepared that its meant as a retreat so no tv or wifi. I am sure the breakfast is nice, but we didn't eat. There are not many rooms, so its not crowded. We spent the evening pretty much on our own in the lounge. The ruins are exceptional. There is a little village 5 minutes walk that has everything you would need. Highly recommend staying.
