The location and cabin were incredible. Our hosts went out of their way to help us. We had an incident where the tire of our rental car blew out leaving us without access to a shop and no food in the cabin. They kindly provided us with a lasagne from their freezer which genuinely saved the evening for us.

Peaceful and in the perfect location for St Bees, Whitehaven and Cockermouth. The washing machine was so handy after a very wet walk around Loweswater. The cottage had everything you needed and was very clean. Comfy bed and super cosy. Great little garden and wonderful views. The neighbours were so friendly! Cannot wait to stay again. Dash Farmhouse nabízí ubytování s možností vlastního stravování jen 6,4 km od vesnice Bassenthwaite a 37 km od Windermere. This is really an extraordinary place! It’s set in the middle of nowhere, surrounded only by fabulous views, sheep and other farm animals. I have never been to a place so peaceful and serene. If you like remote vacations- this place is absolutely perfect. The hosts were great and very helpful to us when wu had a mishap with the car on our first day.

This is a delightful property - beautifully presented throughout and really well equipped. The comprehensive information provided about the cottage made it easy to find and modify (for example) the heating. The cottage has the advantage of being within easy walking distance of the town centre, whilst still being quiet enough to sleep with a window open.

Facilities were great and loved the walks nearby. Great for a weekend getaway and no doubt ideal for longer stays too.
