We walked for dinner in the centre every night and it is just a short stroll away.

The view from the window and the silence are the two main points that make you stay longer. Kind and pleasant welcome. Casa Gaveto ligger i Sabugal, 27 km från Guarda Train Station, 30 km från Guarda Castle och 31 km från Guarda Cathedral. Everything about this property was top notch: the furnishings, the beds, the shower, the kitchen. Joao brought us a basket of breakfast every morning that was beautiful and incredible. Very thoughtful attention to details! Plus Joao was so friendly and helpful. He greeted us at the door on our arrival and made suggestions for places we might visit. We did a 10k hike that he recommended and it was really enjoyable. I really can’t say enough about him and about the place (did I mention that it is right next to the castle??)! Highly recommended!!!
