I travelled with my daughter, who is a vegetarian, and the food options were amazing for us! Highly recommend Ulrich's and Tian Bistro am Spittelberg! We both love art and you are spoilt for choice in Vienna, we managed to visit 7 museums in our 5 days and our favourite was the Leopold, but there was something different in each of them. Worth doing some research based on what you like and booking your tickets online to avoid queueing. I'm not much of a walker but found I'd done over 17k steps a day!! But if you don't want to do that the trams are very easy to use and very regular covering all the main attractions. There are also Bolt cars and taxis which are not expensive.

Vienna is historical, a touristic city, friendly people & very safe for tourists. Public transport is one of the best and if one buys 24/48/72 hours Vienna pass then it makes the visit a truly pleasurable visit to a one of the fantastic European city. Hofburg palace, Main Street, chapel and many other places to visit. Japanese, Arabic, burgers, steaks and Italian food, even Vietnamese and Chinese food was simply amazing. Perfect. Holiday for friends, families and individuals.

Very nice for 4-5 days.
Very nice for 4-5 days. Parks are beautiful and big, it's great to spend some free time between visiting buildings.
Museum of natural history is very big, it took me 7 hours but you can probably see it in 5 (good place to go to when you know the weather will be bad like in my case, rain the whole day). You can go there with kids as they have a lot of interactive attractions that are also educational.
Aquarium has 10 floors if I remember correctly (and elevators!) it has a lot of animals and some interactive stuff, also very good view at the city.
If you are going to Belveder take ticket for both buildings or only Upper, in my opinion buying a ticket for Lower Belveder only is not worth the price

So much to see and do. Great public transport. Fantastic for art and music lovers and excellent for sitting and people watching. Fabulous range of restaurants and dining styles. I would definitely recommend Anna loves Vienna free walking tour or similar. This is a great way to get to know the city and it’s history, especially if you have limited time.

Our favourite European city for art, music, architecture and history, may be not for food! For opera you must book months ahead. The tourist concerts are still good. The museums are exceptional and you need time to enjoy them - the Hapsburg collections are huge. Get a guide for the Kunsthistorisches museum. A walking tour of the city is a great start. The city is clean and feels safe so we walked everywhere. Sachertorte is vastly overrated and overpriced.

Its a beautiful place.
Its a beautiful place. Just grab Vienna City pass (for bus, tram and u bahn) and explore the city on your own. Tap water is drinkable.. There are numerous cafes where you can grab some nice coffee. Must see places - Belvedre Palace, Schonbrunn Palace, Austria Parliament, mariahilfer straße and Graben for shopping. People are welcoming. You can spend Euros in cash or card. Do download google translate app. It really helps in translating german language written anywhere in English.

I really liked the ambience overall, the hotel is situated in a small alley surrounded by historic buildings and next to a green inner courtyard. This makes it very quiet, which is unusual when staying in the city centre; the airport train station is a 6 minute walk away.
The building itself is historical and gives this vibe, while the rooms are well renovated, very clean and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is on a terrace reaching into the small park and a very good restaurant with traditional Austrian dishes is in the same alley.
The hotel is positioned fantastically for both the city centre (tram/tube) and the airport. We had a room on the top floor and it was lovely. A little bare but with everything one needs. There is no TV but an excellent wireless connection. The bed was really comfortable and so were the pillows. The room was clean to a good standard and so was the bathroom. The breakfast, although not included, was outstanding. The best I've ever had in a hotel and the staff were young, friendly and lovely. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
The staff were very kind and excellent in their service.
Although my flight was very early in the morning, they offered me a lunch box to take along to the airport.
The location is easily accessible and is 20minutes walk to the Vienna city centre and 10minutes walk to the train and underground station. There are trams as well within 3minutes walk to the hotel
The room was very clean and you have everything you need for your short stay in Vienna in a compact space (hair dryer, fridge, kettle, plates, cutleries, small fan etc.)! The Westbahnhof station is in 10min walk, and from there the city centre is just 10min by underground. It's not like a hotel room decorated in a fancy way, but great for the price you pay.
