Car parking extremely tight but doable. Very large modern hotel with gym, large lobby. Comfortable, clean. Located in central part of town. Wi-Fi is sluggish. Our window in 1318 always had condensation between the glass panes which obstructed the view of the city. ? Breakfast is massive and exceptional. Top roof bar was nice. Enjoyable restaurants near as well.

Spreading for hundreds of miles from the mouth of the Oslofjord, Oslo is the largest city by area in Europe and is liberally covered in pristine forests rising up into the outlying hills. South of the unassuming city hall lies a vibrant waterfront known as Aker Brygge, which in summer is full of bustling outdoor restaurants and bars.
For the prettiest buildings head to affluent inner-city suburbs of Frogner and Fagerborg, or admire the traditional Scandinavian wooden houses of Bygdøy and Holmenkollen. Monumental buildings include the Royal Palace which runs daily tours and the Akershus Festning, which is a medieval castle that also served as a military base and provides impressive views of the Oslofjord. Oslo City Hall, or rådhus, offers even more distinctive architecture and it is the location of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
Nature is never far away in Oslo which is ringed by an archipelago of islands which are extremely popular in summer. Hiking, kayaking and sailing are all easily achievable within the city limits. Just as popular are the many museums. The national Museum houses Edvard Munch’s famous painting The Scream and Viking Ship Museum containing long-lost relics from Norway’s Viking past.
From downtown Sentrum to the Oslo Airport Gardermoen to the stunning statues in Frogner Park, Booking.com has over 80 hotels and other accommodations available.

The architecture is realy cool and there are many modern buildings between the historic ones. The city center is small so you can explore on foot.
What stood out to our eyes was the trash in the streets and many homeless people asking for money. We have also saw the police searching people and a guy fallen on the floor in the buss station which gave us insecurity and a impression of lack of drug and alcohol control.

There is so much to see and do in Oslo. The excellent transport system makes it really easy to get about by bus, tram or train.
Fjord hopping, museums, walking tours, galleries are all to be enjoyed. There is some stunning architecture and a lot of history to learn about. There is plenty to do at night too - opera, theatres, bars and restaurants.
Oslo is a clean city that has a lovely vibe and you feel safe to walk round.

It’s heaven for the LGTB community, they have several bars and businesses dedicated just for the community. If you are straight this city isn’t for you. I had a hard time meeting people but at least I got to see their colonial buildings and medieval castle. Everything is walking distance in the center of the city which helps, they don’t have a Norway dish or cuisine, so you have to eat typical around the world food. I wouldn’t come back to the city but I’m sure the country side fit me better.

When I visited Oslo on May 17, 2025, it was a sunny and warm day, with temperatures reaching up to 19°C, making it one of the warmer Constitution Days in recent years. This pleasant weather provided an ideal backdrop for the national celebrations.
The highlight of the day in Oslo was the grandchildren's parade, a central feature of Norway's Constitution Day festivities. Thousands of schoolchildren from around 100 schools participated, marching through the city center along Karl Johans gate, passing landmarks such as the Parliament and the Royal Palace, and concluding at the City Hall square. Marching bands accompanied the parade, and the Royal Family greeted the participants from the balcony of the Royal Palace.
Many attendees dressed in traditional Norwegian costumes known as bunad, adding to the festive atmosphere. The day was filled with music, flag-waving, and strong national pride, as Norwegians celebrated their Constitution Day under clear blue skies and mild temperatures.

A very beautiful Scandinavian city with both modern and historic sites, vibrant but at the same time relaxed mood, very good transportation system. Loved Vigeland park and also Ekeberg parken on the outskirts of Oslo.

For me personally the price i paid was worth it. I expexted less than i got. Easy check in, easy checkout, no useless ceremonies. Ofcourse it was 40 mins walk to the center, but as a person i have no problem i love walking. Ofcourse it wasnt 5 star hotel but for the price i paid i was impressed
Location was great, everything was so close to reach by walking (railway station, Munch museum, city centre, restaurants). Breakfast had a variety and it taste good.
The hotel has a modest interior, some refreshment would be good.
Some coziness might have been in the room.
This is a 4 star hotel?? It is a joke. It is absolutely 5 star level!!!
The greateast breakfast I have ever had!
Nice and helpful receptions, super modern quality.
For me, it was a big surprise!
I recomend if!
Easy check in and check out, at walking distance from city centre. Excellent breakfast. No dinner at the hotel but be sure to check out restaurant Africano, at 5 minute walking distance or the Oslo food Hall.
