The old part of the city was pedestrianised, that was excellent for a nice easy walk to many museums. Plenty of cafes to enjoy a coffee. Lots of places to eat. Wonderful. Sarajevo is a lovely city with a diverse culture and population. It is clean and feels very safe day and night. There are many families, young people, and old people who give the city a vibrancy. My only complaint is the smoking. It is very hard to find a cafe or restaurant where there is no smoking. I understand that Bosnian coffee and a cigarette are a big part of their culture, but a section for non-smokers would be nice. Go! Sarajevo is a multicultural city, a blend of traditional and modern cultures. The residents are very friendly, ready to talk, listen, and advise. I recommend Sarajevo, you won't regret it. Baščaršija, Bijela Tabija, žuta Tabija, museums (of which the Olympic Museum is perhaps the most famous), taverns, pastry shops,...
