The young man who greeted us was the friendliest guy ever. He parked our car for us and answered all of our questions. We were able to check in early too. It was the best welcome to a hotel ever. There is a sheet explaining the family who owns the hotel and what the hotel means to them. We would absolutely recommend anyone staying there when in Sarajevo.

Lovely small city which was easy to walk around. Lots of interesting albeit sad history especially due to the war 30 years ago. Friendly people. Cheap to eat, drink and my accommodation was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend Sarajevo for a short break .

The old part of the city was pedestrianised, that was excellent for a nice easy walk to many museums. Plenty of cafes to enjoy a coffee. Lots of places to eat. Wonderful.
The site of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand has a good museum.
A couple of bars were good, Sophie's Garden and the Dubliner Pub.

Sarajevo is a lovely city with a diverse culture and population. It is clean and feels very safe day and night. There are many families, young people, and old people who give the city a vibrancy.
My only complaint is the smoking. It is very hard to find a cafe or restaurant where there is no smoking. I understand that Bosnian coffee and a cigarette are a big part of their culture, but a section for non-smokers would be nice.
Go! It is a great city with so much history.

Sarajevo is a multicultural city, a blend of traditional and modern cultures. The residents are very friendly, ready to talk, listen, and advise. I recommend Sarajevo, you won't regret it. Baščaršija, Bijela Tabija, žuta Tabija, museums (of which the Olympic Museum is perhaps the most famous), taverns, pastry shops,... Try some of the famous Sarajevo dishes and drinks, let the locals give you honest recommendations. Fit in and at least briefly experience life in Sarajevo.

No food served where we stayed but, there are many halal places that you can order from.
We stayed at the Igloo Capola and saw all the places near it: Cable Cars, Old Town, New Town, many historical sights and the oldest mosque in Sarajevo.

We booked a one bed room apartment for our two night stay at the hotel. Upon arriving after 10 PM, the check-in staff gave us the room keys and provided directions to the apartment. The apartment was supposed to have a double sofa bed in the living room however we were unable to convert into one. The night reception staff were also unable to guide us how the sofa could be converted into a double bed. After further negotiations the receptionist kindly agreed to upgrade us to a 2-bed apartment which was far more comfortable.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel located just outside of Sarajevo's Ottoman town centre. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and very well-equipped. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety to choose from.
The staff here were fantastic, offering great recommendations of things to do, and being very accommodating when we asked to book an additional night. I would highly recommend Hotel Sana to anyone visiting Sarajevo!
We booked Movenpick Hotel at short notice when our original arrangements we had in place were cancelled the night prior to us staying there.
Our room was lovely and with the exception of black mold in the shower was otherwise very clean.
We enjoyed the use of the pool and staff in this area very kind and helpful.
Great breakfast with lots of choice.
Good location.
Everyone working at the hotel is super friendly. Breakfast is amazing. A proper Bosnian breakfast which was great to experience.
Hotel was on a quiet street and just 5 minutes work the centre.
