We had an absolutely wonderful stay at JW Marriott Malaysia. We originally booked a double room, but to our surprise and delight, we were upgraded to a suite upon check in, such a generous and unexpected gesture that truly set the tone for our stay. The suite was luxurious, spacious, and impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully curated for comfort and style. From the plush bedding to the elegant design and stunning views, everything was perfect. The staff were exceptional: warm, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was at the front desk, housekeeping, or in the dining areas, the level of hospitality was consistent and impressive. All facilities and amenities were top notch from the pool and gym to the dining experiences, everything exceeded our expectations. It was clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here. Truly a 5 star experience in every way. We can’t wait to return!

FAQs about hotels in Kuala Lumpur

The Happening Hub of South East Asia

Climb to astonishing heights amidst the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur. Look up at the Petronas Towers and, if you’re feeling fit, participate in one of the foot races to the top of the Kuala Lumpur Tower. When you descend the mixture of cultures that make up this vibrant city will greet you.

The capital of Malaysia offers a colourful array of cultures, cuisines and shopping opportunities. Kuala Lumpur’s diversity is on centre stage in China town’s Petaling Street, the food stalls on Jalan Alor, the history of Merdeka Square and the temples and mosques scattered throughout the city.

As the temperature soars in the year-round heat, find refuge in the manicured greenery of the Lake Gardens. Air-conditioning offers more comfort in the famous shopping malls including the Suria KLCC, where anyone can find the perfect gift or momento.

If you’re travelling in South East Asia, there’s a good chance you’ll fly into Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Within 30 minutes you can be in the heart of a city which offers every type of accommodation from spas to budget rooms, 5-star hotels to dormitories. No matter what your budget, with 250+ hotels Booking.com has a place for you in KL.

KL has expanded massively and is now very geared to tourists. Many interesting things to do and see. As we had previously lived there for many years we did not visit many of the tourist attractions apart from the sky bridge & observation tower at the Petronas Twin towers, which we would recommend. Always an amazing choice of food in KL. Check out food courts in Lot 10 & Pavilion. For open air food choices check Japan Alor. If travelling in Durian season definitely try Musang King.

Try to use Grab or Bolt app for get taxi from KLIA its half of price then get from airport taxi. 250MR. price airport Taxi and 120MR. price by Grab. Just go to level 1 and call Grab. Avoid Tamil taxi drivers inside the taxi its worst smell ever. Malay taxi drivers are clean and excellent person. Local Malay and Bangladeshi people are so helpfull.

Kuala Lumpur has grown and developed so much since my last...

Kuala Lumpur has grown and developed so much since my last visit — it’s truly impressive. The city offers a wonderful mix of tradition and modernity, with distinct areas that reflect both its colonial past and its vibrant, futuristic skyline. The people are warm, friendly, and incredibly hospitable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. And the food — absolutely incredible! The variety is overwhelming in the best way, and the richness of flavour across different cuisines is something every visitor should experience. There’s so much to see and do in KL. From the historic and cultural sites in the older parts of the city to the sleek skyscrapers and malls of the newer districts, it’s a city that caters to every interest. Highlights include the iconic Batu Caves, the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, Independence Square, Berjaya Times Square, the KL Tower, and of course, the majestic Petronas Twin Towers — still the tallest twin towers in the world. Getting around is very easy thanks to apps like Grab, Bolt, and Foodpanda, which make transport and food delivery convenient and tourist-friendly. Kuala Lumpur is a city that blends the past and present beautifully. Whether you’re there for the food, the culture, the shopping, or the sights, you’ll find something to fall in love with.

Kuala Lumpur's a wild mix—skyline views, street food heaven, but watch the traffic and humidity. It's city that grows on you. I loved starting the day at KLCC Park—green pockets like that are rare here. Petaling Street fed my love for controlled chaos, and Taman Paramount’s café scene was a quiet win. Food-wise, Village Park’s nasi lemak lived up to the hype, char kuey teow in Seapark hit the spot, and late-night mamak sessions near Masjid Jamek were clutch. Getting around? Grab is everywhere, but traffic tests your patience. The MRT/LRT is reliable, but don’t expect walkable streets—sidewalks are more “abstract suggestion” than reality. As a solo traveller, I found joy in low-key pleasures: museum strolls (Islamic Arts Museum is stunning), café-hopping without needing company, and even a solo spa session at Hammam. KL’s rooftops made dining alone feel intentional, not sad. If you’re curious, independent, and okay with a bit of humidity, the city gives back what you put in.

The staff very kind, the place very comfortable. We made the last minutes booking due to the horrible service by agoda, we unable to check-in our booked hotel that day, so end up we make the booking through booking.com and found this super nice hotel. The staff contact us immediately once we made the booking and told us the check-in checkout procedure. Very good experience and definitely deserves 10 out of 10

It was cheap(ish) For a 3 star hotel, the toilet paper is better than when I was at Pacific Regency which is meant to be a 5 star hotel. So good on you Min Cott for looking after my behind better than a 5 star hotel! Please don't think of this as a stay away. It passes and is clean, would be better if they supplied slippers but it is a good place if you are extremely tight on budget
