The property is very new, lots of open space in the room and common room. The common room and well stocked kitchen give the guesthouse a social hostel vibe, but the rooms are very well insulated. The only noise all night was the howling wind outside. We checked ourselves in when we arrived in the evening and met the hosts in the morning when they were up early making us fresh waffles and coffee (for free!) Very lovely people and a nice place to stay on the way between Hofn and Reykjavik. Ideal if you are driving and want to cook your own meals.
