I had an excellent stay at the place. Very kind, helpful and empathy people. The owner and his family made me feel like a member of the family and at home. Lovely rustic and forest side room with visit of monkeys sometimes. 😍🐵 The place is quite, silent and just across the road to the beach. They offer nice breakfast and meals with fair prices. I got the surfboard, went surfing very close to the place and had lot of fun. I highly recomend Season Four Cabana Mini Jungle. They helped me with all services! Surf, tuktuk of his brother, massage, etc.. Thanks ! Very nice stay in Matara. 👍👌✌💚

Review from a Western tourist’s perspective: An affordable, ideally-located run-down option a stone’s throw from the beach and surf that offers free breakfast. Very peaceful, quiet location with ocean and nature sounds, not road noise. For some reason it’s called Ocean Villa at Surf Spot on booking but Ocean Villa at Beach on google. The staff is pleasant but don’t go overboard.

I love this place! Located just next to Turtle Point beach, a secluded nice beach next to Dickwella Beach. You can walk (beach way) to Hirikteyia in one hour. The rooms are awesome, clean, light, spaceous. Really enjoyed my stay here! Bathroom comes with hot water. TV in the room is a plus! Lovely little garden and 50 meters to the beach. On third floor you find the restaurant. A lovely place to sit and watch the ocean waves. Staff is super friendly! Helps with everything, laundry, snorkel gear, tips etc. I can really really recommend this stay! Date of stay: January 2024 Go up early for lovely sunrise and to swim with the turtles ☀️

Absolutely amazing place! We love staying here. Beautiful villa in a wonderful location. Very helpful staff. They make our stay extra special from start to finish. It’s really is a home away from home. My kids were very happy and had comfortable there. Everyone there is very special and kind. Thank you so much for looking after us and spoiling us.
