Overlooking the surrounding vineyards, the 4-star hotel Weinrefugium Brolli is located 3.1 mi from the center of Gamlitz. The hotel is well designed the stuff were the best we've encountered in all of Austria, very professional with a vast knowledge of wines especially Stefani! An impressive young woman who run the hotel better then many others twice her age who has a lot to learn from her. The food was lovely, breakfast and dinner included! Plenty of diversity in the breakfast buffet. They were very patient with our requests and equestrians about the area and about their wines. The Finnish sauna and the swimming pool were a great addition to an already wonderful stay!

Set in the center of the wine village Gamlitz along the South-Styrian Wine Road, a 3-minute walk from the castle, Hotel am Marktplatz - Landgasthof Wratschko - Gamlitz offers fine Styrian and... Although I’ve stayed just for 1 night passing through on my journey I was upgraded to a nice room which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. They also allowed me to have breakfast earlier in order to leave - very rich breakfast and nice restaurant I’ve experienced for dinner. Overall I can highly recommend this place, wish I’d have had more time to explore - next time :)

Suiten am Simmhof offers accommodations in Leutschach, 13 miles from Maribor Train Station. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The apartment is very comfortable, and completely suited for children and babies. There were toys, balcony is kid safe, children books, kid toilet seat, etc. We explored the surrounding nature, interacted with the farm animals and played with the friendly cat. We plan on coming back!
