The check in check out process is super easy and convenient. The location is so relaxed and the room is very well thought out for a couple. The bed is one of the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in. Having bikes to hire for free was super helpful especially when the local bike places were closed. Everyone we spoke to at the lane retreat were very helpful and friendly, also made great coffee at the pantry. Would highly recommend and revisit again.

I lost a precious necklace - left it at the bedside table. I am grateful for the team who was on honest, reverted quickly by checking and sending back the necklace to me immediately. We were with a large group, attending a wedding nearby.

The heating system worked so well and everything seemed new and well cared for. I was only there 10 hours, so enjoyed the space to unwind before the next phase of my journey.

It satisfied lots of my picky points, the most impressive is super clean!! Even the ceiling/wall/title, no dirty spot at all! I was really impressive. Meanwhile, the owner Mrs. Pam is super nice and kind, she runs her hotel very organized. Lots of details satisfied me a lot! I definitely will come back again next year when I traveled to business site again!

Jeff took us on a “Grapes to Glass” tour and lead us on the “Canapés” & wine experience. Both were very good as a starting point for 3 days in Hunter Valley. Lunch on the patio and dinner at the Gates were both exceptional.
