Altitude 1260 is a family-run lodge located on over 255 acres of natural bushland. The property boasts breath-taking panoramic views from Lake Jindabyne through to the mountain peaks of Kosciuszko. It exceeded my expectations in every way. Breakfast was simple but delicious.... and a great start to the day. Eggs were done perfectly and the view from the breakfast room is simply unbeatable. The evening meal was awesome, and the hosts amazing. The small bar at the end of the evening was a great place to hang out. Managed to see wombats, deer, wallabies and emu all the same day.

Arriving after 9pm willingly took meal order over phone Rooms have been renovated and yes they all have lake views Breakfast is Breakfast but if you do a buffet this is a masterclass
