Set by Erhai lakeside, Hotel Indigo Dali Erhai offers accommodations just a 10-minute walk from Erhai Park. Free WiFi is available in all areas and the property features a fitness center. The location is not near to the old town, it takes around 15 mins by taxi to it. However its view of this hotel is fantastic, I really enjoyed the sunset view from my balcony.

Doudou Meilan Fengqing Inn is a recently renovated condo hotel in Jinghong where guests can make the most of its massage services and shared lounge. Unbelievable large room in the city area, very well located within food streets and amenities. Quiet restful atmosphere. Owner (Mr Zhu) is so friendly and so hospitable that we extended another night on the spot! He even arranged pickup and drop off at the train station for us. Room even comes with a washer for your laundry. Great views of the city and surrounding due to it been on a high floor. Remember to have tea with Mr Zhu!!

Beautifully crafted hotel, large and spacious rooms and facilities, wonderful pool and spa area and in a fantastic location to visit LiJiang Old Town and surrounding areas. Excellent service. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had.

SIXI CANGSHAN MOUNTAINS GOLDEN SUNRISE MIRROR OF THE SKY SOUND SLEEP HOTEL DALI ANCIENT CITy has a fitness center, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Dali. The hotel is exquisitely decorated with a distinctive Nanyang retro style. It boasts excellent scenery, featuring a dedicated viewing deck on the third floor where you can admire the Cangshan Mountain. There is also a "sky mirror" perfect for photography. The toiletries are well-stocked, and the bath amenities are from Penhaligon's. The breakfast is delicious, and the overall experience is highly recommended.

Shaxi Upstay is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Diannan where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. This charming boutique inn was one of the most amazing hotel stays I've ever experienced in my life. For me, it hit all the right notes. It was comfortable, modern, invigorating, great location, the village was enchanting, the hosts were extremely kind, the food was exceptional, the setting is as good as it gets, the building and courtyard had character and history, there was fresh Yunnan tea in the rooms, the views were exceptional, it was quiet and calm, and on and on... Highly recommended, I think about this place every day since I left.

Conveniently located in the center of Kunming, Kunming Spring City Boutique Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, private parking and room service. I have to thank the receptionist boy for not only bringing my luggage up to the 9th floor but also giving me an ethernet cord for wifi connection to my computer! Previously I did NOT get any wifi on my laptop computer so was desperate in need of wifi for the laptop! He helped me big time! Thank him!
