The property is in a very quiet location. It is modern, very clean and up together. Michel the owner was very friendly and helpful. Communication with Michel before arrival was very effective.

I kind of imagined a Centerparcs kind of place with gites/static caravans on a site with a shared pool facility. With that in mind, I thought the size of the pool in the photos looked a little small and might be too busy. I was totally wrong about all of that haha! I want to describe the accommodation for anyone thinking of booking, because honestly the description doesn't do it justice. There are 9 separate gites, arranged in a circle, with a large covered atrium at the centre. It's all one building - you collect your keys from reception and walk or drive around to find your door. Inside is a living room/dining/kitchen area, and stairs leading up to the bedrooms/bathroom. At the back of the living area, there is another little room with a shower and sink and a back door - which leads to the atrium. The other gites all have doors leading into the atrium as it's a shared space. There's a small, warm pool (nice to relax in, and great for the kids to play in) and a comfy seating area. Lots of places to sit and relax, and a hammock! There are plenty of bikes of all sizes, each with its own lock and key, and you can just take them out for the day - no need to book them out or anything. From the accommodation, it's about an hour's walk to the start of the bridge that leads to Mont St Michel (and from there, another 20 minutes' walk or a free 5 minute bus ride - the buses are every few minutes). With the free bikes, you can cycle that distance in 20 minutes (leave the bikes at the bike park next to the bus stops). The path you travel along is all off road, it's all flat, along the river, so you can't get lost and it's very easy to travel with no horrible hills! The lady who met us at reception was lovely, so friendly, and I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We stayed for one night after a day of visiting D-Day Beaches. Great location in a renovated old farmhouse. The area is nice and quiet. Our room was large and stylishly decorated. Very friendly reception by our host who supplied us with a delicious homemade breakfast ont the day of our departure.

Set in Saint-Martin-des-Champs, 3.5 km from Avranches, Le Petit Lustucru offers a garden and free WiFi. We felt like at home. Nice apartement, well equipped, convenient location, good hosts. We enjoyed very much, thank you.
