They have thought of everything that a guest may need. A lot of thought has gone into the layout and the space is used very efficiently. Quality fittings and furniture, comfortable king size bed and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Advised of door code before arrival. Check out very simple - push a button on the door to let them know that you've left and the 'clean team' turns up in minutes. Impressive!

Fairdene Cottage offers accommodations in Ballater, 11 miles from Balmoral Castle and 29 miles from CairnGorm National Park. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. Fairdene Cottage was perfect. So adorable and comfortable. I was able to visit Balmoral and also the Ballater train station with a replica of Queen Victoria's train carriage. I loved everything about the cottage and its location.

It was like visiting my Uncle who inherited the mansion from our great grand mother. The house is absolutely lovely and decorated with so much love. The room did have every thing needed, was very clean and I even had sea view!

Rudan Guest House AB53 6UQ enjoys a location in New Deer, 16 miles from Fyvie Castle and 18 miles from Haddo House. The place is a little difficult to find. The owner stayed with me on the phone and stood on the road to make sure I could find it. Very pleasant hosts.
