Coorg Wilderness Resort & Spa in Madikeri has 5-star accommodations with a fitness center and a bar. I have stayed in various hotels and resorts including Taj, Radisson, swissotel, intercontinental to name a few. But Coorg wilderness resort outshines all of it. The word excellent is insufficient to describe the resort. The best highlights are the location, food including dinner and breakfast. Also to note the staff are highly trained, kind and the best I have come across so far. I have to agree Paul John resorts have maintained excellent quality in all aspects.

Exceptional hotel in a stunning location, with lovely facilities. The morning bird-watching walk with Ganesh was a highlight. Really exceptional staff, all of whom were genuine, friendly and went out of their way to be very welcoming and helpful.

The location was sublime, right in the middle of the coffee plantation. It was a place that took away all the tiredness of the mind and soul. Waking to the cacophony of nature and sleeping to the chorus of the insects in the night made us long to come back again soon. The time we spent seemed too little. The food was good and tasty.

Located 13 mi at the foothills of Madikeri, Kushalnagar. Purple Palms Resort & Spa features of an on-site restaurant, an outdoor pool and Spa. The resort has a gym, children’s playroom. The hotel is in a very ideal location. Hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness & Courtesy was the key highlight right from the start. The restaurant served wide variety of food , be it either breakfast or dinner, here kudos to the very well organized Mr Shekar & team. All other facilities, be it the gym, spa, pool & indoor sports area was very good. Highly recommend Purple Palms to those visiting Coorg.
