Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this designer hotel is in a renovated traditional farmhouse. The location is amazing, great view on the sea from the room, the terrace and the restaurant. Very quiet area and comfortable room. Very good breakfast and restaurant. Nice crew.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally located a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed, fantastic view from the window! The staff is responsive and kind. Especially the woman at the bar, who prepared coffee and told us about the complimentary glass of Madeira wine!
