The room's design and forniture was amazing and they care a lot about using local and homemade products for breakfast (bread, jams, granola, etc.) and in the room's equipment (soap and blankets crafted in Gotland). The night check-in instructions were very clear. After the check-out they kept my luggage for some hours and they were kind enough to call a taxi for me, letting me stay in a really cozy living room to wait for it. The hotel is located in the old town, close to the main attractions and facilities and very easy to reach by foot.

Just 8 minutes’ walk from Visby Harbour and the ferry terminal, this quiet hotel offers individually decorated rooms with free WiFi access. The greenery of the Palissad Park is right next door. The location is good enough. I get nice tourist spots or restaurants within 15-20 minutes by foot. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. On my first day of arrival, they were very kind and recommended Vencino Cafe & Bubbel (Sidderrog 1, Visby) to me for lunch. It was a cosy and nice place. The liquid soap provided by the hotel smells so good that I purchased a few to take home.

Located in Visby, 1.3 km from Visby Ferry Terminal, First Hotel Visby has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and 2 barbecue areas, as well as free WiFi. Very good breakfast. Good location and car parking available onsite. Service was good and friendly. Rooms are practical and met our expectations. Nice pool and available activities like mini golf. Nice view from hotel.

Hotell Slottsbacken is just a few minutes’ walk from Visby’s main street, Adelsgatan. The breakfast is great, the beds very comfortable, the room has a great atmosphere with a view over the harbour and the location is just perfect. The final thing to point out is that the staff is excellent. One person to mention especially is Sandra in the reception who is a real gem and very professional while still being personal and social.
