The architecture, inspired by local heritage, blends seamlessly with the environment, creating a luxurious yet cozy experience. The staff at Niehku were not just friendly but genuinely attentive, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms, though not large, were elegantly designed, providing all the comforts one could ask for after a day in the mountains. The sauna, with its panoramic views, was a highlight, offering a serene way to unwind. Dining at Niehku was a culinary delight; the menu focused on local ingredients, with dishes that were both hearty and sophisticated. The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meals. Simply relaxing by the fireplace after a day in the mountain was such a nice experience. What stood out was the personal touch in every aspect, from the bespoke adventures to the warm, home-like atmosphere of the villa.

Very kind staff, going the extra mile to help you out. Having a cabin for yourself means a different experience from the usual hotel room.

The room is bigger than other accommodations I have been in Sweden, and the interior design of the hotel is very stylish. The location is in the old town area, so it’s not close to the church but it’s just one stop from the station (take the free shuttle), and there are nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast is pretty good! Public sauna is clean and quiet.

In addition to the private apartment we rented, there are shared and private rooms with common areas (kitchen, living room, dining area, bathrooms, showers, etc.). Since our train departed later than our check-out time, they allowed us to use those common areas. They are excellent as well—very comfortable, clean, and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped. There is a lot of respect among guests, ensuring silence for rest and relaxation while enjoying views of the lake. They also offer the option to rent cold-weather gear (clothing, boots, hats, and gloves). They offer many options and activities. The staff is very friendly.

The location is near a sky path and a good spot to see the aurora. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly. The room was made of two bedrooms one with one bed and the other one with two. There was a shared kitchen and dining room with a tv. There was also a TV in the main bedroom. The temperature of the entire place was great, very pleasant when coming back from the cold.
